Sigils
Sigils awoke with a huge headache. He couldn't remember what he was doing before now. He was laying on the ground. He felt something damp and prickly under his fingers. Where was he? What had just happened?
A voice surprised him. "Ow...my head."
"Henwy?!" Sigils was shocked.
"Sigils?" Henwy called back. "Wait what-"
"Helloooooooo?" Another familiar voice called out.
"Biffle?" Sigils and Henwy called out simultaniously.
But then a number of other extremely familiar voices began talking all at once.
Sigils got up from the ground and saw a campfire, complete with seats, and with other people sitting around it. The group gathered together in a circle. Sigils, Henwy, Biffle, Nico, Jerome, Gold, Karan, Alxton, Ambrew, Kate, Zud, Lookumz, Loaf and Blushi. All thirteen members of Camp gathered round the fireplace.
"Hi!" Jerome waved.
"Where are we?" Gold asked. Karan shrugged.
Sigils stood in awe at what was happening. "Okay! Pause- What? How? When? Where- I don't understand."
"I don't either," Biffle said, looking at everyone sitting around the fire.
Loaf was also keenly watching everyone around. "I don't think anybody does."
Sigils interrupted. "Hang on, aren't we all...um, Camp Minecraft members?"
"That's one way to put it," Henwy said.
"What happened?" Blushi asks quietely.
Alxton is looking at the campfire. "Guys the campfire has a sticky note on it. It says 'beware. play the game you've always played.' "
A chorus of confusion and murmurings breaks out.
"WAIT A SECOND-"
"WHAT?!"Sigils raises his voice above everyone else. "GUYS!"
Everyone stopped talking and looked at Sigils. Sigils, in a worried voice, said, "I think it means we have to play Minecraft."
The chatters began once more.
"What do you mean, 'play Minecraft?' " Karan asked.
Sigils looked hesitant. " 'Play the game you've always played.' We're all Camp Minecraft members here. We've always played Minecraft."
"But how would we play it?" Ambrew asked, confused.
"How does this work?" Kate asked.
"I mean if we wake up, in a strange place with awfully familiar people and sticky note on a strange campfire, what do you do?" Zud commented.
Sigils shrugged. "I dunno! Get wood, mine, survive."
"How would you mine?" Alxton wondered.
"Let me try! Let me try!" Biffle called out. He smacked his bare fist on the dirt on the ground. Amazingly, a piece of dirt broke away and shrunk to the size that fit in Biffle's hand. There was now a hole where the piece of dirt used to be.
"Oh!" Nico gasped.
Lookumz looked at their surroundings. Trees. Dirt. Grass. "Okay so, we just play Minecraft?"
Sigils shrugged. "I think so- BIFFLE GET OUT OF THE GROUND!"
Biffle just giggled and stayed in the hole he had made. Some of the others laughed too, as Sigils slapped his forehead. Classic.
