3 Weeks, 3 weeks had passed since the funeral took place as the young deer overlooks the mountain tops before looking back to his small sled filled with wood. The boy took a deep breath to relieve himself from both the cold and his hard labour before begrudgingly dragging his sled along back home. Today the boy had quite a busy day, for he had to go to town in order to trade the wood he had chopped for wood for cash and in turn, use the cash to afford food for the week.
After what felt like hours, The boy finally made his way to his wooden shack of a home. The lad exhaled in sweet relief and dropped the rope on his shoulder tied to the sled. He then lightly jogged inside with audible crunches from the snow beneath. Entering inside, the young man was hit with a wave of relief as the warm crackling from the fireplace calmed his chilly heart. The boy then went towards the nearby table to his left before pulling out a chest containing his clothes for the city and promptly getting changed now adorning a simple white T-Shirt, grey jeans, and a black and turquoise flannel shirt around the right side of his waist. Before packing his axe into a long sports bag, The young lad made sure to pick up a large sack containing his sisters' ashes, gently pressing his forehead into it as a means of prayer. He then tied the sack behind his waist, grabbed the bag containing his axe, and went out the door. Grabbing his sled, The boy took a deep breath and with a determined expression marched onwards towards the city.

The Predator and Prey
The trek was lengthy yet, effortless and straightforward for the young man to him, it was all in good exercise. As cars of varying colour and size wizz past, the young man finally could sight of the nearby store tailored for camping supplies. Opening the door, the young man was met by a loud and booming voice "Well, well look what the snowstorm brought in, how ya' doing YN?" The boy turned his head to the source of the sound to see a small yet stoic-statured beaver dressing in a leather apron and thick work boots and gloves "Brok, long time no see, I believe I am doing quite alright" the young deer, now named YN, responded, " well that's good to hear, I'm assuming this hauls for me?" Brok inquired, pointing to the sled behind YN. " you are the only one that will buy it off me" YN explained, " Damn straight I am, and that best not change you got that?" Brok ordered gruffly "Understood" YN answered. "Honestly kid how the hell can ya' just go 'round draggin' that thing, you ever thought of buying a car before?" Brok asked implying the sled YN drags around "I have little need for automation plus, it is good exercise" YN explained "Even so, you're still a kid, kids your age should be going out, hanging out with friends, gettn' inta trouble, all that sortsa business" Brok suggested "there's a old cafe my brother owns, it's pretty popular with the kids, I think, here" explained Brok, handing a slip of paper. YN grabbed it it was an address, "then is it alright for me to leave it here while I tend to my business?" YN asked politely "Course, I'll leave it behind the counter, now get outta here" Brok Jokingly shoo'ed. As YN made his way to the door Brok spoke up, "Oh and one more thing If you see my brother, tell 'em I said hi," Brok asked, YN simply nodded and left outside with the sound of the doorbell ringing aloud inside. Brok's brother was named Sindri and instead of the craftsmanship of the outdoors, he'd prefer the finer stuff within a ceramic cup of fine coffee. YN made sure to read the address carefully before going on his merry way.
YN finally reached the building and was met with an old, wooden, rather rustic-feeling building. YN made sure to check his surroundings before opening the door and making his way inside.
Surprisingly, The cafe was empty. YN turned his head to double-check if it was closed however, the sign was flipped to open. Confused YN took a seat at the counter, waiting for Sindri's arrival. Soon enough, a small, well-shaven, beaver popped out behind the counter wall. Sindri, like his brother, was rather small in stature despite being taller than his brother, however, unlike his Brok, Sindri had sleek brown fur, was rather lean and fit and his hair tied in a neat bun behind him. " Ah YN" Sindri greeted in surprise "To what do I owe the pleasure, I apologize if I kept you waiting" he apologized "No, not at all, I have come here on your brother's accord" explained YN, "He says I should meet new people, and friends and whatnot" "oh, and he says hello" YN quickly remembered. "ah well, least he's looking out for me, so, how's the axe?" Sindri brought up, YN jerked in surprise and reached into his bag placing the axe on the table
"Well, at least you're taking good care of it," he remarked "Well, what can I get you, it's on the house" Sindri offered "Um are you sure?" The young deer asked, placing his axe back into his bag "Yes, of course, only the best for my friends" Sindri affirmed "Oh well I guess, mocha one sugar please" YN ordered " Mocha, one sugar coming right up" Sindri announced. "Alright, mocha one sugar for you my good sir" Sindri complemented, placing a small ceramic cup on the table. "thank you, Sindri" YN thanked " Not a problem YN, I'll leave you to it" and with that, Sindri left to the kitchen to prepare his meals, leaving YN to his own devices. YN took a deep breath, clearing his mind from any distractions so that he may enjoy the simplicity in a fine, bitter brew of coffee. YN raised his cup to his mouth but before he could take a sip, the door opened with an audible bell sound, revealing a rather beautiful she-wolf dressed in colourful clothing.
