𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 dark outside and only the blue color of the police sirens was flashing through the glass windows of the building.

Lizzie was sitting in-between Mindy and Tara, her arms wrapped around herself, while she gazed into the distance, her mind still with Gale, who had already been brought to the hospital a long time ago.

Suddenly the doors of the lobby opened and no other than their neighboor jogged inside, catching everyone's attention.

Danny seemed like he had just ran a marathon, when he came to a stand in front of the group, "Hey— hey! I got here as fast as I could."

The man now stood besides Sam, who seemed to distrust him now, according to her look, while Lizzie raised an eyebrow at him sceptical, "Did you?"

The blond was now feeling rage, pure rage. This Ghostface shit was robbing her of all the people in her life that meant something to her and she was now firmly set on getting revenge.

The man seemed confused by her question and remained silent before Mindy spoke up, "I'm scared you, guys. I really don't wanna get hurt again."

"Neither do I." Chad stated quietly, before Mindy gave him a long glance. "I don't want you getting hurt either, again."

The boys placed his head on her shoulder, sighting "I know. I know."

Lizzie also placed her head on Mindy's shoulder, while Tara did the same with her. Chad raised his eyebrows at them, "So what do we do now?"

"Maybe he gets to win this time— he wants to punish me." Sam suddenly stated, catching everyone's attention while she stood up. "Me— so maybe I let him", Sam continued, her face now showing the emotional pain she was in while her voice was trembling.

The woman started crying when she shook her head, "I'll just give myself up. If this is what I have to do— to keep you safe— it's worth it."

The group of teenagers stared up at her, disbelieving looks plastered on their faces. "Jesus, Sam. We're not doing this!", Lizzie immediately exclaimed while she straightened up and frowned deeply.
