I wore a black off-shoulder and a mini skirt matched with my knee-length boots. I curled my hair to wave curls

I drove my car to the grilling restaurant and looked at myself once again at the mirror before I went inside

I prepared myself mentally. I should be prepared the moment I come in. I searched for my old classmates until I found them near the window

"Hello" I said

"Hi Mint!" They greeted. I sat down on the empty space and we started talking how are we doing after we went our own ways

"How about you,Mint? What job are you in now?"

"Me? I'm working at my parents company" I replied

"Right,I forgot you're from a wealthy family"

"Do you have a boyfriend now?" They asked

"No,I'm satisfied all by myself alone" I replied

"I really thought you'd end up with Mino" They said. I thought so too

"How are you with him by the way?"

"We cutted ties before we go to college" I replied

"Speaking of Mino, He said he's already here,just parking his car" I accidentally choked on my beer as I heard that

"Are you okay?"

"Yes,I'm fine"

"Right,you just said you guys cutted ties with each other. I'm sure it'd be awkward for you"

"No,It's fine" I smiled

As expected,Mino already joined us a minute later. This bitch really had the audacity to show his face to me 🙄 and he literally sat in front of me out of all the empty seats in this long table

We continued talking to each other, ignoring the fact that Mino and I were avoiding each other on the side. We didn't talk and greeted each other, not even an eye contact

Another group of our old classmates arrived and they already sat. I was startled when one of the guys that just arrived, sat beside me. He's unfamiliar yet familiar

"Mint! Why did you suddenly stopped talking?" One of our classmates asked

"Of course,You won't be able to talk if your highschool crush chose to sat beside you out of all the seats" They said and looked at me. Gosh! I hate attention

I looked down and hide my face because it was red as a tomato. I looked beside me and saw my old "crush" Hoshi sitting beside me

"Hey! Stop teasing Mint. She's already blushing" Hoshi said. This motherfucker!

The others continued talking again and I just sat there uncomfortably. Because who wouldn't be awkward if your bestfriend who stopped talking to you is sitting in front of you and your so-called "crush " is sitting beside you

"How are you?" Mino suddenly talked. I don't know who's he talking to and it's not my business so,I ignored his existence again

"Mint,I'm asking how are you?" He asked

"Excuse me? Are you talking to me?" I sarcastically scoffed. You're the one who said let's not talk to each other anymore. You're the one who said let's not see each other anymore then you'll talk to me now?!? Are you stupid?

"I'm fine,Still breathing so,still fine I guess" I replied

I suddenly felt something held my hand under the table. I looked at Hoshi for a second and saw him acting like he's not holding my hand. He even intertwined our hands
