I was bawling my eyes out in the middle of the road. My boyfriend just broke up with me

"Miss, you're gonna get wet if you just stay there" A man suddenly approached me from behind while covering me from the rain with his umbrella

I didn't even noticed it was already raining

I looked up and saw a not-so-tall guy with pointed eyes looking at me

"Thank you" I said and stood up

"Just take the umbrella" He said and handed me the umbrella before he ran away

"What was that?" I asked, still holding the umbrella

Though confused what just happened, I walked back on my apartment and continued crying there

I didn't go to school for the whole week because of my break up

《FLASHBACK》

My boyfriend, Minghao told me to go meet him on a café. I'm actually excited because it's been a long time since we've been on a date. We're both busy and had no time to each other. I'm busy being working student and he's busy studying

"Rae, Let's breakup" Minghao suddenly said

"H-Huh? What? What are you talking about?" I stuttered as I can't find the right words to describe the confusion I'm feeling

"Let's breakup" He repeated

"Why? Did something happened? Are you not happy anymore? Is there already someone else?" I asked the questions that first come up on my mind

"No,I love you. There's no one but I have to leave. I want to continue studying in China" He said

"Can't you just stay here?" I asked

"No, I feel like I was being held back here. I want to focus on building my career" He said

"We can keep this relationship going even if you're far away" I said

"No, we can't. The school I like is pretty strict so, even if we keep this relationship, we'd just end up breaking up and I really like this school, I don't want to be kicked out" He explained

He's just gonna break up just like that? Maybe, I wasn't just that important for him haha

"I hope I already made you understand my side and I hope we'll still be in good terms"

"I'm going now, my flight will be later in the evening, I already need to prepare. Thank you for all what we had" He said so, casually and just left the café

I walked out of the café and tried to find on the crowd on the street but he must've walked too far by now

I sat on the ground and started crying

I know studying is important but what about the plans that we made for each other? Is it not important? Does our 4 year relationship not important? Our 9 years of friendship? Is it not?

It's already been a month since Minghao left, Maybe I should be moving on now. He won't come back anymore

I cutted my hair off because why not? Haha Minghao said he likes my long natural brown hair so, maybe cutting my hair off and dyeing it other color would be the first step on forgetting him

I went to school after I styled my hair. I fixed my things before I go to school. I entered the room and sat on my seat like usual and put my earphones on my ears

"Excuse me, Ms. Will asking you to go to her table" a classmate knocked on my table

I stood up and went to the office without saying anything
