They are all great characters, but I think there really is one, I can't stand.

His voice. I think this is reason enough.
He is a scientist. He should be intelligent. And what does he do ? He sells his soul like a cheap piece of camembert.
If he wouldn't have been blinded by his grieving, he probably would been able to even invent something against the virus.
Furthermore, I don't really see a reason we he should join the bad guys.
Of course, the money is important, but nothing else, really ?
