As she stepped on platform nine and three-quarters, all Freya Alden could think about was how excited she was to start her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Freya began to scan the platform looking for a certain raven-haired boy. Eventually, her eyes land on one of her best friends, Benjamin Thornton. Freya and Benjamin were the only Hufflepuffs in their friend group, Hermione, Ron and Harry all being Gryfindors.

A big smile spread across her face, and she began running to her best friend.

"Benji!" Benjamin smiled as he engulfed his best friend into a tight hug. Usually they would spend summer together but Benjamin went on vacation for the summer.

"Hey Angel, miss me?" He said as he released Freya from the hug. In truth, he had missed her more than he ever planned on telling her.

"Not really, it's not like I ran to hug you after not seeing you for 2 months." Freya sarcastically remarked, rolling her eyes in the process. She couldn't wait to spend her fifth year Hogwarts with her friends and be able to play quidditch.

The duo were now on the train, trying to find the compartment that contained their other three friends.

And eventually, they did. As they entered the golden trios compartment, their faces lit up with joy. "Mione!" Freya squealed in excitement. "Finally, I have been reunited with my favorite person ever. And you two." She adds that last part gesturing to Ron and Harry.

"You really know how to make a boy feel special, don't you, Frey?" Harry said, sarcastically. Freya flashed a smile at him before walking to him and giving him a hug, and then one to Ron as well.

The five sat down, Ron, Hermione, and Benjamin on one side and Harry and Freya on the other. After they all got comfortable, they all began chatting about their summers.

"Frey, are you excited for quidditch this year?" Harry asked, looking down at the girl who's head was in his lap. In response, she nodded with a big childish smile on her face.

"I can't wait to see the plays Diggory has in store for us this season. We're gonna kick everyone's ass!" The blonde girl said, looking up at her friends. They all smiled back at knowing how much she enjoyed the sport.

When Freya was a little girl, her and her father would go out into their backyard, and play quidditch. When her father was younger, he loved to play, and it only felt right to make sure he taught his daughter all about the sport. And so, every Sunday for as long as she could remember, she and her father would dedicate the whole day to playing quidditch. They called it 'The Alden Quidditch Sunday'.

"Don't get too cocky there, Angel, Gryfindor is gonna give us a run for our money, especially since it's Johnson's last year." Benjamin stated. The Hufflepuff simply rolled her eyes and continued to talk to the five of them about random topics; Hermione was talking to Freya about muggle books she should read, Ron was babbling on about continuing his chocolate frog collection, while Harry and Benjamin were talking about quidditch.

Everyone was conversing all at the same time.

As chaotic as this may be, Freya wouldn't want it any other way. She preferred the way things were, uncomplicated, normal, casual, easy.

She hoped it would stay like this.

Also! Voldemort does exist but he does not come back, which means harry's parents are still dead, cedric is alive, and im gonna say that Lupin is still a professor at Hogwarts, mainly because i don't want Umbridge.
