CHAPTER EIGHTY THREE !

Alexandria had been rebuilt after negan and the saviours had just completely destroyed it for what it was worth. everyone was getting along now. estella had her own bedroom at alexandria, her own actual bedroom that wouldn't be destroyed. it belonged to just her. it was her own personal space. she had also learned how to read properly, and even had a small shelf of books that the king had donated her from the kingdom's library. she now owned a copy of 'the little mermaid' and tons of other educational books of all the mythical stuff estella liked, like princesses and dragons.

her hair was also getting longer and her curls were less like ringlets and more like waves. she thought she would be sad if she lost her curls, but she was actually pretty happy about it. they were still there slightly, but not as short and curly as it used to be. as time went on, it also began to grow into a lighter blonde shade, just like her mom always expected it to, with both of her parents being bright blonde. her hair was more of a dark blonde, but as she got older, it got lighter. it was usually the opposite, but estella was happy about it. she was getting older, she was changing.

maggie still wasn't happy about rick saving negan. she was at the hilltop full time, and carol was full time staying at the kingdom. it was her home, now. estella was sad at first. it felt like they were all moving on from each other. she learned soon after that moving on was good, they were expanding the world to a bigger place. she couldn't help but feel like it was all an impulse decision, though. she liked all of her family to be together like they used to be.

estella was currently going on a run with daryl and some others. she didn't know what for, she just wanted to get out for a little fresh air. she had also found a new knife and a gun in a box. she loved them. she could work them perfectly, so she kept them. that saved her from using daryl's knife that felt strange in her hand, and it felt good to actually be able to have a gun for when things really went bad, and she couldn't use her crossbow.

she was riding on the back of daryl's motorcycle as everyone else was on horses, or in the carriages on the back. she loved the fact that they hard horses now. she loved them. it made her feel like they were all in movies and living like they were in the olden days. however, she liked to go on the back of daryl's motorcycle more. she just liked to be near him.

estella and daryl never really got to speak anymore. it kind of felt like he'd been pulling away. after what happened with negan, he had just stopped talking to her. it seemed like the only time he ever spoke to her was if he was telling her to do something, or to go somewhere. she didn't understand. she was confused. daryl had said he was proud of her for trying to kill negan, so why was he pulling away like he was angry at her? she didn't know.
