*Hello everyone it's been so long. I hope you all are doing well. Here's the new chapter.*
The trip back home was surprisingly quiet. The younger siblings were engrossed in conversation about their upcoming sports events while Shivang was sound asleep, still exhausted from the commotion of the previous night.
Sulabh, meanwhile, sat lost in thought in the passenger seat as the streets passed by. KK's soulful tune played softly on the radio, creating a peaceful ambiance in the car. Sulabh occasionally stole glances at Shivang, still preoccupied with his own thoughts.
Suddenly, Shivang jerked awake, frantically searching for Sulabh. Upon seeing Sulabh calmly sitting in the front seat, Shivang breathed a sigh of relief and tried to calm his racing heart.
"Vairagi, are you okay?" asked Sulabh with a concerned expression.
"It's nothing. I just had a bad dream. Are you feeling okay?" Shivang inquired anxiously. "Please don't lie to me. If you feel anything out of the ordinary, let me know so we can take you back to the hospital right away."
"Relax, Vairagi. I'm perfectly fine. Don't worry about it. Just go back to sleep," Sulabh reassured him, trying to ease his worries.
With a sigh of relief, Shivang leaned back in his seat again. After some time, they arrived at Sulabh's home.
"Shivang and Samay, why don't you both stay here for a few days? I know that even if you leave, you will both continue to worry about Sulabh. Besides, he won't let me live in peace," requested Sulabh's mother as the brothers were preparing to depart for their home with their father.
To Shivang, Sulabh's home felt like a second home. He had spent many nights there with his family, and it felt as if they were his own. Sulabh's parents loved both brothers equally, just like their own child. Before they could object, Anubhav dragged Samay along with him, and their parents retired to their rooms, leaving the two friends in the hall.
"Let's get some rest, Vairagi," Sulabh suggested, signalling for Shivang to accompany him to his room. Once they had changed and were ready to sleep, their younger siblings abruptly entered the room, startling the two older brothers.
"What's going on? Why aren't you two sleeping? I thought you were tired," Shivang remarked suspiciously, observing their mischievous grins. He knew they were up to something and would try to persuade Sulabh to join in.
"Hey, brother, let's spend some time together. It's been a while since we hung out as a group," Samay said excitedly, jumping onto the couch.
Shivang responded with irritation, "Sulabh just got back from the hospital and needs rest. It's not a good idea for us to go out."
Sulabh, on the other hand, was eager to join, saying, "Come on, Vairagi, let's loosen up a bit and let the kids have some fun."
Anubhav suggested they go to Ganga Ghat for a walk and to relax for a while, but Shivang was still hesitant, worried about Sulabh's health.
