Nick's partner, Khai was given a new partner, being Tyson, who left the business with crime. Nick's new partner was a Nikke from Elysion, named Diesel. She would have to work with the Detective with the drug war in Miami as part of the Miami PD.
The scene opens up with Nick being called to fall in, and it shows the new Chief of Police, assigning him to be partners with a Nikke from Elysion, as they were also compatible with being partners.

This is Diesel, a Nikke from Elysion who was put into the Miami PD, and she looked at Nick and waved to say hello to the Detective.
Nick: Sir, it's an honor to be partners with a Nikke for the first time, so she's my new partner?
Chief: Yup, Latchford was assigned to Dao, and Mendoza, your partner is a rookie here.
Nick: So that settles it.
Chief: We have the same guy from earlier, Black hat, jeans, and a brown coat. Aged 18, 5'10, uses a knife.
Nick: Yeah, got it.
The intro starts up.
It later shows them just going out and heading to their Patrol Vehicle, a Ford Shelby GT350 Interceptor.
Nick was seen and he is driving the car, as they are headed to a downtown hotel.
Diesel: So Nick, I'm your new partner?
Nick: Yup, we're headed to a hotel, as there's some guys with coke.
They arrive and park their Patrol Vehicle and they grab their sidearms, which were a Glock 22 and a Glock 23.

Nick was armed with the Glock 23, and Diesel had the G22 on her. Then they arrived inside and they got positioned near the door, and they were heard talking.
Nick: This shouldn't be too hard for you, why don't we get some lunch just after?
Diesel: Alright, w-well I don't know about you but you had Cuban Food-
Nick: C'mon Diesel, I already did one with my old buddy Stoddard, who was corrupt. Anyway, you ready?
Diesel nods.
Nick: Use your big girl voice.
Diesel: *Breathes* POLICE! OPEN UP!
Drug Dealer: S**T! IT'S THE COPS!
Nick kicks down the door and the two of them were heard, as Nick pointed his Gun at the suspects.

Nick: NOBODY MOVE! HANDS UP!
Diesel: GET ON THE F**KING GROUND RIGHT NOW! GET ON THE DAMN GROUND!
The suspects get down on the ground and she arrests one of the suspects, one by one, until a female with a Shotgun came out and Nick got her with a taser. Then they saw another suspect coming with Cuban food and Cheeseburgers on him.
Suspect: Hey guys, I got the food already-
Diesel: HEY GET YOUR HANDS UP!
The suspect fled and then they go after him and Nick got into the Passenger seat and Diesel slid on the hood and she got into the car. Diesel gets on the wheel and they start pursuing it and when they shot the tire on the car, it stopped and then the Suspect armed himself with an AKM, and fired at them, Diesel opened fire with her Glock 22 at the suspect until he fell to the ground as he was shot in the head, as Nick fired his Glock as well at the suspect but reloaded when Diesel shot the suspect in the head.
