YOU'LL JUST LOOSE SOME BRAIN CELLS !!!

                                                                     ☆☆☆

The alarms of both boys' phones went off as they both groaned in sync while being in different households. As one got up and the other pulled the blanket over his head to muffle the alarm, their parents called out to them.

"Hanbin, get up! Have you forgotten how school days worked"?

"Zhanghao! Quickly get ready, you don't want to have Hanbin waiting on you".

After a few seconds later, the boys ended up being in the same room of their houses again: the bathroom. One just started brushing his teeth while the other has already begun rushing his skincare routine. Although they were far from closeness, they were most definitely copies of each other.

Zhanghao ran outside to meet his mother at the kitchen where food was already in metal containers with blue cloth wrapped around it. Next to it, there was a duplicate of his meal, though instead of blue, it was a yellow cloth. Curious at the two meals, his mouth began to opened but words were blocked by a feminine voice.

"Bring this yellow one too! It's for Hanbin. I heard his mother is going away for some business trip tonight."

With no reason to object, Zhanghao slid both boxes into his bag gently before taking off. As the doors of his home opened, the doors of the house across him did as well revealing the boy he was responsible for his lunch for.

He was in the same school uniform with a color-blocked polo, black slacks and a navy-blue blazer accompanied with his student ID. His tie was in his hand and his backpack hung off of one shoulder. Though, there was no greetings between the two; they stood for a few seconds before Hanbin started heading to the stairs.

They don't necessarily live in an apartment, but they did as well. An apartment for two families, two households. The stairs were in the middle of the walkway where their entry-door was on either side.

Hanbin unlocked the gate at the end of the staircase before he got on his bike and rode right. Zhanghao who was trailing behind him had the gate doors close in front of his figure. He repeated what Hanbin did by going on his bike and cycling towards their shared school.

Hanbin wasn't necessarily being rude, he was just in a rush. He had enrolled in a morning class that was starting at exactly 7 and he was out of his house at 6:45. Including the time he stalled by staring at his neighbor for a good minute in total, he was practically going to be kicked out on the first day. It was a good thing that he was athletic.

By 7:40, Zhanghao arrived at school. Yes, he didn't live far from the school, but whenever there was a hill in which he would have to bike upward, he gives up and walks with his bike. He was not athletic like Hanbin, he'd admit.

But there was one thing that he can outdo Hanbin in if he continues trying. To be the top student at his school is the only goal and pride Zhanghao has but although being high in the top 2, he was not first. It was his third year at this school, and he had never been first-- and that ticked him off. He was always first, always in his previous class, school and Hanbin himself. It was just this year Zhanghao had been slipping.

Those who were also walking in with Zhanghao had someone beside them; only Zhanghao walked beyond the gates solo. With much confidence actually. New year, new him. He promised himself to avoid any hangouts, have any negative marks on his report cards, get fit and maintain a gpa better than Hanbin.
