"You don't need to compete for awards to prove to us. We love you for who you are, you shine as a diamond through and through." She said, smiling. Lola, shaken by the sudden compassion, she only embraces her bigger sister. Lincoln loses all of his friends because he's a loser now, with all his friends believing he's dead, he has no one but his family. But suddenly, a loud siren is heard outside and wakes everyone up and they all rush downstairs turning on the TV. A nuke sent straight from no-where is heading for the United States because Lincoln defeated God's path. Shaken, without any words to say, everyone stands in silence as tears begin to break. Leni, characteristically, pulls out a paper. A paper with deep words that mean much to her. She speaks about family, money, love, and her deep appreciation towards everyone. A poem that she's written in preparation for the end times. Lincoln sits with his parents, both in sadness over his loss of companionship and his nation, a sense of hopelessness, confusion, and anger floods him. But there's nothing he can do, he's completely powerless against the bodiless threat looming above. The bombs fall, the sounds of whistles fall through the air, as the Lincoln family sit in silence around the now turned off TV. Holding hands, they all close their eyes. Accepting fate, as they all embrace each other in a final dance of love. Their lives flash in an instant in fire; Luan confessing her love to her crush after school, Lincoln remembering when he ran away, he was a drug addict living amongst the Michigan homeless population, Luan's short lived Wood carving hobby. All that remains is black. As not even the sound of a pin dropping is heard when the bombs finally ignite a few hundred feet above the Lincoln Family Household. But after a while, an intoxicating, blinding white fades into existence replacing the merciful, peaceful, and warm black with an anxious, excited, and lively white.
