At the end of the year, Y/N finally moved into Mingyu's house after getting permission from her brother.
Mingyu was overjoyed to have her in his home. They quickly settled into a comfortable routine, spending their days together and getting to know each other better. They were happy and in love, and it seemed like nothing could come between them.
" I was surprised that you are Wonwoo's sister." Mingyu is carrying Y/N. Then she answered, " I'm more surprised that you are friends with my brother since he is so socially awkward. He has few friends." Mingyu smiled and said, "Well, it's true! He's a bit weird but I like him." Y/N laughed and said, "That's my brother!"
" But at least he's not as weird as you, Mingyu!" Y/N quickly released herself from Mingyu's arm and started to run around the house. Mingyu chased after her, laughing. He caught up with Y/N and tickled her until she was begging for mercy. They both ended up in a fit of laughter lying on the floor.
They heard a cough. It was Wonwoo. " Don't lovey dovey in front of my glasses." Y/N added, "You should be more worried about your glasses getting foggy with all the love in the air!"
Wonwoo's face suddenly dropped. "Maybe I should get a windshield wiper for them..." He realized he could just close his eyes, but that would defeat the purpose of having glasses.
" Ugh..I hate you two." Wonwoo sulked.
His friends laughed and teased him, telling him he was being too dramatic. Wonwoo just rolled his eyes and grumbled under his breath.
" I wonder why you chose him." Wonwoo asked his sister, Y/N about choosing Mingyu as her partner. Y/N shot him a glare and said, "Because I like him. He makes me happy." Wonwoo sighed and said, "Fine, but if he hurts you, don't expect me to be nice to him."
Y/N smiled and said, "Don't worry. He wouldn't do anything to hurt me." Wonwoo nodded and said, "Good. I'm glad you're happy." They hugged and Wentwoo left, feeling relieved that his sister was in good hands.
" It must be a pleasure to have a sibling huh?" Mingyu pondered. "Yeah, it's great to have someone around to blame for all my mistakes!" Y/N answered.
Y/N laughed and Mingyu smiled in response. "It's nice having someone to rely on," Mingyu said. "Yeah, it really is," Y/N agreed. Mingyu sighed wistfully. "I wish I had a sibling too." Y/N smiled and put a comforting hand on Mingyu's shoulder. "It's ok, you can always rely on me!"
Mingyu smiled in gratitude and hugged Y/N tightly. Y/N returned the hug, and they both knew they would always be there for each other.
" AAA!?" Y/N suddenly remembered something of importance. Mingyu stepped back and asked, "What's wrong?" Y/N scratched the back of her head and said, "I almost forgot. I promised the others I'd be there by 3!"
Mingyu gestured for Y/N to go ahead. "Go, I'll cover for you. Just don't make a habit out of this," Mingyu said with a smile. Y/N thanked Mingyu, grabbed her bag, and rushed out the door.
Y/N could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she hurried down the hallway. She was relieved when she made it to her classroom without being caught. Mingyu's help had made all the difference. She managed to get the paper to the professor before the deadline. She was grateful for Mingyu's help and felt relieved that she hadn't let him down. She was relieved to have gotten away with it.
The professor was surprised at how late Y/N appeared to pass the assignment to him. Jaehyun asked Y/N what had happened, and Y/N told him she forgotten about the deadline was today. Jaehyun was relieved that the paper had been submitted on time.
He accepted the paper and praised Y/N for her hard work. He gave her a few pointers and asked her to revise the paper and submit it again in a few days. Y/N thanked him and promised to submit the revised paper on time.
