Chapter - 2 : Back in the Past

Claude slowly opened his eyes and then blinked a few more times, after that he was fully awakened.

Claude shot up remembering what happened and was also confused on how he's in his chambers.

"Felix" Claude called out to his childhood friend and right hand man Felix.

Felix opened the grand door of the Emperor's chambers and came inside then closed the door.

"Blessings and Glory upon the Obelian Empire" Felix bowed and greeted the Emperor with a smile.

"Good morning Your Majesty,are you well now" Felix asked with a smile on his face.

"What happened" Claude asked his childhood friend Felix with a confused expression.

"Your Majesty has been drinking after what had happened between Your Majesty and the Lady" Felix explained.

'As in Lady,does he mean Diana' Claude thought and was overjoyed thinking to be able to see Diana again.

"Felix,what is today's date and year" Claude asked Felix then got up to get dressed.

"3rd in the 12th month of Imperial year 245" Felix replied to the Emperor's question without any hesitation.

Claude was startled hearing that,the day his lover dies and his daughter is born that day is today.

"Felix,where is Diana" Claude immediately asked Felix after getting dressed.

"Diana? Who is Diana Your Majesty" Felix asked in a confused manner to the Emperor.

Claude was startled by the question of his friend and looked at the knight questionably.

He remembers that Felix and Diana were close to eachother like friends in the past.

Then how come he doesn't know or remember Diana.

After getting dressed Claude went out of Garnet Palace and went to the Ruby Palace.

The servants stood in line and bowed.
"Blessings and Prosperity upon the Sun of the Obelian Empire" the servants greeted.

When the Emperor entered all the consorts and concubines came and greeted the Emperor.

"Where is Diana" Claude asked the servants.The servants looked at eachother confused.

The consorts and concubines were also confused,"Your Majesty,may we ask who is Diana" one of the consorts asked.

Claude's eyes widened hearing the question,he knew that Diana was one of his concubines.

But whenever he asks about Diana they act confused and then asks him who Diana is.

"Your Majesty,His Majesty and their Highnesses are here" a ravenette haired
lady said to the resting Empress.

"I see, please let them in" the Empress said in a low tone not to wake up the new born child in her arms.

A man with blonde hair that resembles silver came in holding two boys in his arms.

The two boys in the Emperor's arms were the carbon copy of their father in every way possible.

The Emperor sat the two boys on the Empress's bed then sat on the side on a chair.

"You did great my moon" the golden haired Emperor said patting the Empress's cheek lovingly.

The blonde haired Empress looked into the Emperor's eyes then smiled at him lovingly.

While the two lovers were talking to each other the two Princes were looking at the new born child curiously.

"do you want to hold her?" the Empress asked her sons who were watching the baby curiously.

The two Princes looked at each other then looked at their mother and nodded excitedly.

"Astrantias and Aurbriets,you have to be careful while holding the baby" the Emperor said with a smile on his face.

"Yes papa" the two Princes exclaimed excitedly with a bright smile on their face.

The Empress slowly handed over the baby over to her sons and then smiled.

The Princes held their new born sister carefully with a gleem in their eyes and a smile on their face.

The Emperor and Empress watched their children bonding with their new born baby sister with a smile.

"Diana" the Emperor called out to his beloved lover and his Empress.

Diana turned to her lover and looked at him with a smile on her face.

"Have you decided on a name for the baby" the Emperor asked his Empress curiously.

"Yea dear" Diana replied with a calm smile on her face.

"Alstroemeria" Diana said with a hopeful gleem on her face.

The Emperor looked at his Empress in a surprised manner and then smiled at her.

"Alstroemeria Von Aristaeus" Diana said with a serious lovely smile.

Diana turned to her husband and then smiled at him.

"Do you like it Asteraceaes" Diana asked her husband.

Asteraceaes smiled at his wife and then kissed her forehead "yes I do" he said with a gleam.

Amethyst Jewelled eyes gleamed in the moon light similar to starts in the night sky.
