The wind flows through your hair, the slight whistle of the birds and air ring in your eardrums. The sounds and the feelings give you a sense of.. content, and peace. 'It's better this way..' You think. 'My friends won't have to deal with me now, it would be better if I just die.' Those thoughts block out everything from the outside as you close your eyes contently.

Every window you pass, you can hear families talk with their loved ones, wishing them the best. Oh.. how you envy them. But that doesn't matter now. Does it? You relied so much on other people. You weren't there for anyone. Not Basil, not Aubrey, not Kel, not Hero. Not even Mari.

If only you weren't such an ignorant baby, maybe it wouldn't have come to this. But, no.. you just had to complain that your fingers hurt. That it was too much for you. That you were bleeding. You should've kept that to yourself. Now look where you are.

Falling to your pathetic death. How does it feel, knowing you won't be such a burden now? I bet it feels nice.

[Meanwhile, in the hospital room.]

"He should be fine.. a few minor injuries, but he did damage his ribs a bit. Other than that, in a few days, he will be discharged. But just to be cautious, make sure he stays away from anything that could potentially make him fall."

The doctor stated as they walked out of the room, letting the gang inside of Basil's room.

"O-oh, hey guys.."
Basil said meekly. "Hey Basil, are you alright?" Hero asked with a concerned smile. "Yeah, I heard you took quite a beating, I didn't know you had that fight in ya, Basil." Aubrey remarks with a snarky smirk. Kel laughs, "Heheh, yeah! I mean.. You stabbed Sunny's eye out!"
Kel giggles.

Basil looks down sheepishly. "Y-yeah.. I should go apologize to him after we get out.." He pauses.
"U-uhm speaking of Sunny.. Is he alright..?" He says worridly.
Kel perks up. "Oh yeah! We haven't visited him yet.. We could go see if his alright, though." He looks at the others for approval.

"You go, I'll just stay here." Aubrey stated. Hero nods along. "But-" Kel gets cut off. "Just go already." Aubrey interrupts. With an annoyed sigh, Kel waddles out of the room. Walking through the painfully silent halls, opening Sunny's door.

No one is in here.

Kel's brows furrowed as his eyes dart around the room, searching for him. 'Am I in the right room.?' He thinks, as he double checks the room he's in. 'Room 206, yeah it's the right room. Why isn't he here?' He goes back to Basil's room.

Basil looks up. "Is Sunny okay..?"
He asks, with his eyebrows raised.
"Okay uhmm.. funny story but he's not there." Kel says bluntly. Everyone's faces drop into confusion and worry. "The fuck do you mean, he's 'not there'." Aubrey says, a tinge of skepticism her voice. "Kel.. are you sure you entered the right room?" Hero asks.

Kel looks to the side sheepishly.
"I'm sure, I checked twice." Kel states. They all exchanged worried looks. Basil starts to look very distressed. "T-then w-where could he even be..?" He asks in a shaky voice.
"Don't worry Basil, I'm sure he's fine." Hero says reassuringly.

Kel looks up to the window..
His eyes widen in horror, as his gaze is locked on the window. Aubrey gives him a weird look. As she turns to the window, and her expression turns sour.

He immediately bolts to the door, and Aubrey follows. Hero and Basil look at each other confused. Kel reaches the stairs, and basically skips four steps, every time he touches the ground. Aubrey just runs down the stairs like a normal person.

Nurses and doctors are no where to be seen, as they reach the parking lot. Then they see it. The doctors and nurses gathered around something..
Kel quickly pushes through the crowd, and his eyes land on something. No, someone. Aubrey looks over his shoulder, and her eyes dilate.

"S-sunny."
Kel's voice cracks, as he falls on his knees. Aubrey just stands there, looking down at the mangled corpse before her. His arms and legs are twisted in every wrong way, and the bandage is off. Revealing half of his face now skinned off, implying that he slid on the concrete causing his skin to peel off.

Kel grabs what used to be Sunny's hand, as he pleads. "I-its okay, you're alright.. W-we're gonna fix you up good as new! So don't you worry, Sunny." Kel states, as his hands shake. Aubrey looks over to him.
"Kel.. s-stop. Half of his face.. i-it's gone." She says, almost gagging by the sheer sight of it.

Kel looks down.
"Oh.. I didn't notice.."
He drops the boy's hand, as he starts to cry uncontrollably, grabbing both sides of his head. Aubrey kneels down, and gives him a tight hug, also sobbing. Kel grabs onto her tight, and cries into her shoulder.

Sunny's eye flutters open.
He sits up, and looks around, the grass is a pale purple, and the sky is an endless medium blue color. He looks down at his hands, which are now a ghostly white. His eyes dart around, taking note of his surroundings.

He then spots a door, it was a gray door, similar to the ones in Headspace. Maybe if-

He whips his head around to the sound of footsteps, and he's met with... Mari?
"Hello, little brother." She says sweetly. "I wasn't expecting to see you here.."
