Exactly the previous day of this event, Surajsinh Solanki and Bhuvansinh had visited thakorsaheb Neelsinh's home with their problems and had asked for Kriya 's assistance in solving them. This is what had happened immediately that.
Surajsinh, after fully evaluating Kili, returned to the secret chamber and told Neelsinh to immediately send Kriya and Kili to Patan with him. Kriya was called inside the secret chamber and informed about the mission. She had many questions in mind but Suryadada informed her that he'd be revealing the things very gradually to her. He also had a short talk with Bhuvansinh who was extremely excited to know that Kriya was to go to Patan for an important mission.
'I'd like to join too for the Patan trip with you all, maybe after going through some documents in library I might come to know about our village, ' Bhuvansinh said as he removed some ancient , very worn out and very fragile looking pages that he had kept inside a plastic folder. They looked like a map and an official order with a royal seal on it. Everyone was completely fascinated by those manuscripts, they held so much importance and archeological value.
'After our work is over, we'll need to submit these to the Archeological Survey of India.' Jayveer commented as he passed on the documents for all of the family to see. Definitely, what Bhuvansinh possessed were priceless antiques.
Within next few hours, Jayveer,Suryadada, Kriya, Pearl, Richa and Kili set out for Patan in Jayveer's SUV. On the way Suryadada took the map of Mudraksha in his hands to searched for some clues as to where it could be. But the names were barely visible That period was also the beginning of Gujarati as a language so certain letters were also undecipherable, as during that period Old Gujarati was in use. Probably some letters were also of Gurjar Apabhramsa.
' Time to exercise your boon Kriya,'Suryadada handed over the manuscripts to Kriya.
Kriya took both the royal order and the map in her hands literally shaking in excitement. Pearl and Richa sitting next to her were also equally thrilled at the prospect of seeing their cousin going to dive into the past and finding the truth about the 800 years old papers infront of them. They knew that their cousin had been granted the boon of being able to look back in the past by goddess Nishadevi.
Kriya first took the royal order in her hands and tried to read. It contained a message which mentioned that a village Mudraksha with a population of 50 people was gifted to Vikramsinh Rana for saving the life of King Siddhraj Jaysinh in battle against some evil forces. There was no mention of the battle and the Gujarati language used there had some letters which Kriya couldn't understand as she didn't understand old Gujarati used during the 12th century. She closed her eyes and thought of the goddess first and then she thought about date on this event took places . Next she felt as if she was going in a kind of trance.
When she opened her eyes she found herself amidst a huge crowd and lot of noise. People around her were wearing very traditional clothes. There were only men and they were wearing an upper garment and dhoti. They were also wearing colorful turbans. In front of her was a huge ground and beyond that she saw a raised platform where a person with great disposition was sitting on a throne with a yellow shining crown on his head. There was a lot of jewelry on his chest and he was also wearing a yellow dhoti. Kriya understood that the man was a king
A man was standing with folded hands in front of him. Kriya couldn't see the face of this man as he was facing the king.
' Vikramsinh, I'm pleased with your selfless services, and to honour that I've decided to give you a gift of life time,' the king was saying.' That is my duty maharaj,' the man with folded hands was said.
' Maharaj Siddhraj Jaysinh no jao ho', the crowd seemed to be cheering.
Kriya soon realised it was Maharaj Siddhraj Jaysinh himself. She felt extremely fascinated at his looks. His personality resonated great power and amazing strength. The way the crowd was cheering at their king made it very evident how much popular he was with his subjects.
' I'm gifting you with an entire village, and this is a village of those great people of our kingdom who are highly gifted with some extraordinary abilities. You will be their leader from now onwards. '
'I'm so grateful to you maharaj.' The man said with folded hands very respectfully.
' But I'm going to give you a task to find out whether you're worthy of being a leader of that village or not. ' Saying this Siddhraj Jaysinh paused a bit before proceeding.
'Nobody except I know where this village lies in my kingdom,' he continued at the crowd's surprise.
' And you'll have to measure the length and breadth of my kingdom and find out where it is. Only then will this village belong to you'.The entire crowd became speechless. Where was this village of strange people with some extraordinary abilities...nobody knew..
