Jack takes us to his car. He opens the door and I get in. He follows and the driver takes us somewhere further in the city.

We talk about the movie for the entire ride. I seriously did not even suspect Ethan to be Ghostface. Like not one bit. And Jack shows me his Gostface socks, which I think is adorable.

When we arrive to the building, it appears to be a very nice apartment complex.

Several other people arrive at the same time as us and Jack turns to me, "There's going to be paparazzi, don't be scared."

"I wasn't, until you said that," I say with a worried look on my face. He chuckles as the door opens.

Jack steps out first and I follow closely behind.

Cameras flash and his name is called out several times, but among his name, someone called out my name. I turn to look at them, but Jack gently grabs my hand and pulls us along with security.

I didn't even think people would know who I am. That's naive of me to say, but I guess that's how I was raised.

I'm no more important than anyone else.

I drop Jacks hand once we get inside and he leads us to an elevator. We get in and someone presses the button for the penthouse.

The elevator was full with people going to the after party. It must've been one of the directors penthouses.

"Whose place is this?" I lean up to Jack and whisper.

He bends down and whispers in my ear, "It's Tyler Gilletts. One of the directors."

I nod and the elevator dings open to a large room with a few people dressed in more fancy clothes.

"Name," the security guard asks us.

I look to Jack and he looks to me, "Um Jack Champion and his plus one." I answer for him.

He relaxes as the security guards let us continue on. The room is full of people, which is a huge task considering the size of the room. Music was being played loud and there was a lot of chatter.

I make my way into the kitchen and find the fridge. I grab a Dr. Pepper since we were too young to drink, but old enough to come.

"Will you get me one too?" Jack asks quietly.

I nod and grab him one as well. He seemed off. I hadn't known him for very long, but he isn't really a calm guy.

"Are you okay? You seem quiet," I open the can and lean against the counter, looking up at Jack.

He nods, "Yeah."

He won't look me in the eye, though. I feel like there's something wrong.

He watches tensely at the crowd in the main room. Maybe he doesn't like crowds.

I don't either.

I look around for another room or something, but they're all blocked off. There is one door and it looks like it leads to a balcony.

"Come on," I grab his hand and we go alongside the walls to stay away from everyone.

We end up outside and there's a table with four chairs. No one else was out there.

Jack relaxes and sits on the edge of the balcony, "Do you think I'd survive if I fell?"

"Yes," I joke and walk up to him, "get down."

"I'm not gonna fall, Mellie," he chuckles.

My lips purse and I stand next to him, leaning my elbows on the edge of the concrete wall.
