I was still driving and then we arrived at Ivy's house. We alighted from the car and then walked inside. Ivy rang the doorbell and the gateman opened then we went inside. Lily sat on the couch with a smile on her face. Their mum wasn't around.

I love what you did to Maurine; Ivy said to Lily.

Awwn thanks. I too love what you did to Anna; Lily said with a smile.

But are you guys still best friends? Lily asked and i saw Ivy's face change.

Emm Lily! Just go to your room and rest. You've cried a lot so you need some rest; i said.

Okay then! What of Gavin? Lily said and asked.

I'll be heading home now; Gavin said and Lily ran to him and held his hand.

No! Don't leave pls; Lily pouted and he smiled.

Alright! He said and Lily dragged him with her upstairs.

Ivy walked towards the chair and sat down with tears forming in her eyes. Naomi and I sat besides her.

Ivy what's the matter Ivy? Naomi asked.

I can't believe that Anna never loved me or treated me as a best friend; she said as tears began dropping from her eyes. I and Naomi looked at each other before i sighed and pulled her into a hug.

Don't waste your tears on her okay? You deserve someone better and not her so please don't cry; i said trying to console her.

But it still hurts. I loved her so much. I treated her like my twin sister but she just used me to get good grades; Ivy said crying on my shoulder. I pulled out of the hug and used my thumb to clean her tears. Naomi tapped her and she turned to look at her.

She didn't mean what she said. She was angry that's why she said all those things and she just said it to hurt you. I know fully well that Anna loves you so much. So please don't cry again; Naomi said and she nodded and hugged her. They stayed like that for some time before breaking the hug.

Alright! Go to your room and have some rest okay? I said and she nodded. She told us goodbye before heading to her room. I turned my gaze from Ivy then stared at Naomi.

What did you tell Ivy? I asked.

I can't tell you that. Anyways, i have someone to go and teach so I'll be going now; she said and stood up.

Alright then! Good bye; i said and she nodded before leaving the house. I sighed and sat back down on the couch. The door flew open and a woman who looked like their mother came in. I got up and greeted her.

Good day ma'am; i greeted.

Who are you? She asked coldly.

Emm.. Am Arnaldo. Arnaldo Ardentine; i said and she gave me a deadly look.

What are you doing in my house? She yelled and i shifted back a little. Why is she yelling? Did i do something wrong? I asked myself. Just then Ivy ran downstairs wearing a pink and black crop top with a pink and black bum short and she came to my front with her arms spread out.

I entered my room then quickly went to have a shower. I took my bath then wore a black and pink crop top and a pink and black bum short. I lied down on my bed with a smile on my face when i heard some people talking. I got up and went to my door and opened it a little. I peeked and saw mum there talking to Arnaldo. Oh no. Mum's back; i mumbled and carried my phone.

📲 Lily! Mum's back. You need to get Gavin out of there; i texted.

📲 Alright! Thanks for the info; she texted back and i sighed. I heard mum yelling and that's when i ran downstairs and stood in front of Arnaldo with my arms spread out.

So this is the boy huh? She asked me

Yes mum! So why are you yelling? I said and asked.

I thought i told you to stay away from him; she said and I turned to look at Arnaldo and saw a confused look on his face. I turned back to my mum and sighed.

Yes you did but I can't do that. He's my friend and I can't just avoid him cos he did nothing wrong; I said and she slapped me.

You will do what i say!!! She yelled and i fought back the tears.

I will not do that mum; i said.

Alright then; she said and stormed off to her room. I turned to look at Arnaldo and sighed.

Am sorry; he said.

Don't be. You did nothing wrong; i said with a smile. My mum came out of her room with her luggage. She dragged it towards me and i gave her a puzzled look.

Since you won't stay away from him, we'll leave the country instead; she said and i could feel my heart shattering.

No way mum. I won't go with you; i said shaking my head sideways and just then Lily came down.

Lily! Go pack your things. We'll be leaving the country; she said to Lily.

No way mother. I don't want to leave; Lily said crying already.

Too bad you don't have a choice. And as for you; she said pointing at Arnaldo. You better leave my house this instinct;she said.

I'm sorry Arnaldo; i said and hugged him before breaking the hug. He gave me a short smile before leaving.

Now go pack your things; she said.

No mother; i said.

Alright I'll do it for you; she said and went upstairs. I sat down crying and after a little time, she came back with i and Lily luggages.

Now let's go; she said coming to take hold of my hand and i pushed her hand away.

No mum. I won't go with you; i yelled and ran out of the house. I was running and i didn't see a speeding car coming. I ran across the road without looking left or right and then i saw a car coming with speed and before i could move away. It ran me over and I flew up and landed on the floor with a big thud. Blood was rushing from my head nose and mouth. I saw Arnaldo coming towards me.

Ivy! Ivy!! He yelled shaking me and tears were dropping from his eyes. I raised my hands and caressed his face.

Ple..Please don't cry. I.. I'll be o.okay; i managed to say then my eye lids went heavy and what followed next was complete darkness.
