Over at the swan house the next day phoenix was relaxing on the sofa with bella since they both got up early and decided to kill time untill charlie got up.

Bella: hey bubba what are you reading?

"Oh just a Naruto manga would you like to read with me?"

Bella: sure I would love to and we have time to kill before we have to leave for school since we got up at 5am

"True"

Phoenix gently pulled bella into his side as she snuggled up with him and begins to read it with him untill they hear foot steps coming down.

Charlie: morning bella, phoenix.

Both: morning dad

Phoenix: did you sleep good?

Charlie: yeah I slept okay you?

Both: mhm

Bella: I'll go make breakfast for us

Phoenix: nooooo

Bella: haha come on bubba you can stay with me or read it out loud to me

Phoenix: I'll stands at the counter and read it for you

Phoenix smiles happily as he goes to the counter while bella starts to make bacon, eggs and toast as this is happening charlie is listening to them as phoenix reads bella some times adds her input on what's happening and how it maybe could have been avoided or prevented which makes charlie smile as he won't say it but his kids were the ones that got him into new things and phoenix helped update the house and electronics in it even tho it was EXE who did it.

They even got charlie into anime some old and new their favorites are,

Charlie - inuyasha, JoJo bizarre adventure, bleach and Naruto, my hero academia

Bella - Naruto, all Sword art online, bleach, one piece, jjba, MHA

Phoenix - Inuyasha, jjba, all SAO, bleach, Naruto, one piece, MHA

While having breakfast they talked about new anime to try.

and talked about little things. When it was time for the siblings to go the school a bad feeling hit phoenix like a truck as he and bella got in his car as he had all season ties on and it was a bit slippery outside today.

On the way to school the feeling only grew and since they were one of the first few there phoenix parked on the other side of the lot next to Rosalie's car as they got out they both met in front of Phoenix's car to wait for the bell.

Bella was reading (one piece manga) as phoenix was looking over the car's his fear growing fast as he pulled bella closer which made her look up at him and see the fear in his eyes as phoenix kissed the top of her head they start walking to the front doors at EXE's request bella not questioning it hoping it somehow removes her brother's fear filled eyes and brought back the normal caring and kind look he normally has in them.

Cullen's pov.

We where standing by our cars like normal when Esme's mates car parked next to Rosalie's which wasn't normal and once he got out with his sister we could see the fear in his eyes as if something is gonna happen and once they start moving towards the school us following behind to protect them. we heard it a car coming down the way but it hits a ice patch and ends up hitting a tree since no one had the left side parking lot luckily no one got hurt but now we see why he was so scared and parked by us good thing to and thankfully Edward didn't have to expose him self to the humans but it still didn't seem to calm Esme's mate down as he wanted to rush over to help get that boy Tyler out but his sister stopped him claiming he needs to relax first as his anxiety was running high according to jasper and his sister.
