I just moved into this small town, it's a nice place surrounded by fields and beautiful forrest's but it also has a local daycare, I enrolled my twin boys Misha and Sergie in. My boys are 4 years old from Russia, we moved only a month ago. I just found the perfect house where I won't get found. My husband left me when the boys were born since then I have been a single mother and I have done pretty well. The twins are extremely intelligent they have been champions in chess at 3 years old,

I pulled on to my street to find my house, the street was full of two story houses with pointed roofs, wooden panels around the second floor with brick along the bottom. They were all identical with big garages and long concrete driveways flowers along the sides. Our house was the 5th one down on the left, the boys were looking around the street. The odd tree dotted around. I pulled onto our driveway, our house was painted cream white with a black door on the side next to the drive. The boys got excited when they saw the new house we bought, they excitedly jumped out the car and ran to the front door begging for the key in. I fished for the key in my pocket, I had it on a keyring with my car keys. I locked the car, it was a red jeep with a black interior.

I unlocked the door the hallway was a plain white wallpaper with a dark brown wooden floor, the stairs next to the entry way. Straight down the hall was the kitchen and to the right was the living room attached to the dining room. The boys stood in the entry way waiting for my approval to have a look around their new home.

"Da of you go boys" I replied to their silent question

The boys rushed down the hall into the kitchen, it was painted a light grey with a white wall trim, it was a small square with a extension on the back, the first half with a beige marble tile, birch wood cabinets with a grey marble top, a black double oven with silver diles and a silver sink looking out of a window into the backgarden. The extension was less extravagant, it had a cold concrete floor, the same counters, a huge silver fridge at the end next to the door to the downstairs bathroom, a white chest freezer along the side wall below the window, a silver washing machine and a silver dryer in the corner and a small corridor with french doors to the backgarden. The boys looked over the new garden, it was medium sized with a path to the tiled section for a BBQ or lounge chairs. It had freshly cut green grass with big bushes around the right hand side with a huge tree that towers over the back of the garden. We went into the living room to watch TV while we waited for our takeaway, I don't normally buy a take away but I thought it would be a nice treat.

The Livingroom was attached to the dining room, the dining room was the first room you enter it had a beautiful arch way to the living room. It had plain white walls with a white wall trim, a huge window that you could see out into the street from, a small birch wood square table, 4 black dining chairs surrounding it and a huge painting of a city hung on the wall opposite the arch. The room was fairly empty as we just moved in, I wanted to build upon the house and Change some things. The boys walked into the living room, it was painted the same grey from the kitchen with a high wooden border that Went halfway up the wall in white, a grey corner sofa on the left with a small coffee table Infront of it, the fireplace was in the center of the room with a huge TV anchored on the wall above it, there was a arm chair in the other corner of the wall next to a giant window out looking the street and a huge bookcase on the left side of the TV it had all my books from mother Russia on it.

I flipped through the TV channels before settling on a movie called mulan it was a Disney film and it had just started. When halfway through I heard 3 knocks at the front door, I grabbed my vodka bottle just incase I needed it. I opened the door to a young man holding a paper bag and a pizza box.

"Order for Katrina ____" he mumbled in a annoyed tone
"Da that's me" I replied taking the food and closing the door

I placed the order on the dining table and called the boys through, I handed them their food.

The sun started to set, it was 8:30pm the boys had the day care tmorrow so I took them upstairs. The wooden stairs creeked as we went up, the hallway was just a plain white with wooden floors. The boys were sharing a room as I needed a office, their room was at the end of the corridor. It had grey walls with a geometric pattern as wall paper, a metal bunk bed, a small desk and a book shelf full of books on chess and Russia. I told the boys to pick a bunk each, Misha choose the top while Sergi took the bottom.

"Спокойной ночи мальчики" I whispered [goodnight boys]
"Ночная мать" they replied [night mother]
