Blowing out a puff of air, a blonde strand of hair flew away from the girl's face and settled back with the rest of her hair. Sunset gold eyes traced over the painted details while wiping down the surface of the skateboard, following the intricately painted leaves and flora that spanned various hues of green, gold and indigo. After being satisfied with the clean and spotless surface, Thalia smiled, wiping off the grime that had dirtied her hands when putting the trucks back on the board. She held the board up, stretching her arms out to admire her work.
Thalia was snapped out of her thoughts by a buzzing sound. Glancing down beside her, she noticed her phone screen lit up with an incoming call. Noticing the contact, he sets the board down and picks up the phone quickly.
"Hey, Diluc, what's up?" She greeted, placing the phone on speaker whilst she stood up.
"Did you finish that board I gave you?" Came the monotone voice over the other end.
The girl carefully lined up her phone, hovering it over the skateboard as snapped a picture. "Yes, sir! I just finished cleaning it and everything." She cheered happily.
"Great. I need you to do me an extra favor, I'll pay you extra for it."
The male's serious tone caught Thalia's attention, holding the phone close now to properly hear what Diluc had to say. "What is it?"
"I need you to deliver the board to the client. I still have stuff I need to take care of here and the guy needs it tonight. He'd need it delivered to Sk8." Diluc explained. "Can you do it?"
The blonde answered immediately, wanting to do what she could to help out her friend. "Yeah, sure." Pausing, she considered some things that made her nervous about the situation. "I've never been there though. I don't have a pin or anything-"
Thalia's rambling was cut off by Diluc."Not to worry. I have extras. Stop by the shop, I'll leave one for you in the back. I'll send you the directions there and a description of the client so you can find him. I've also asked if I can give him your contact so that you may find each other easier."
"Okay." The girl nodded along, feeling more at ease knowing that he already thought of all the details. "In that case I can head out right now."
"Thank you, Thalia. I'll be waiting for you at the shop. No rush but...try to get there quick."
Saying her farewell, Thalia hung up her phone and started to get ready. Throwing on a hoodie, the blonde pulled the sleeves down as much as she could to hide the fact her arms still had paint on them. The skateboard was placed carefully into a carry bag that Diluc had given her precisely for this, and thrown over her shoulder whilst she tried to slip her converse on. Shoving her keys and phone in her pockets, Thalia made her way out of her house as quickly as she could and hopped on her awaiting bike.
Although her main priority was helping out Diluc, she still couldn't help but feel a little nervous. Sk8 was an underground skateboarding race where anything was allowed. Thalia had never gone there herself, but knew about it from Diluc. She had no personal problem with the idea of such a place, however, it still made her uneasy to be there as an outsider.
Sighing out a deep breath, Thalia put a bit more force into her pedaling. 'Get in and get out. You just have to deliver a board, Thalia.' She encouraged herself. Despite that, she couldn't help but dread the night ahead for some reason.

Glancing around herself, Thalia couldn't help but feel slightly self conscious. Everywhere she looked, people were arriving on skateboards. Although she doubted anyone actually cared, the blonde couldn't help but be conscious of any eyes on her.
