Suspects

   You all sat outside at the college campus. Mindy, Chad, Tara, Sam, Quinn, Anika, Ethan, and you of course. You and Ethan were quietly giggling, whispering funny things into each other ears while Mindy was talking about her stupid horror movie rules.

   "Our first suspect, Ethan, the shy and dorky roommate who nobody would suspect because he's so shy and dorky." Mindy pointed to Ethan.

   "What? Just because I was randomly put with Chad?" Ethan said, annoyed.

   "You can easily juke that." Mindy said, crossing her arms.

  Ethan rolled his eyes and you put your hand on his arm to try and comfort him. His body felt tense.

   "Hey, don't worry she's always like this" you say quietly, giving him a faint smile. He smiles back and nods.

   "How much longer are we gonna be here?" He asked, sighing.

   "I don't know... wanna listen to music?" You asked.

   "Of course" He replied as you pulled out your earbuds.

   You put on Tyler the Creator, while you guys half-listened to Mindy.

   "Are you guys seriously listening to music right now?" Mindy asked, putting her hands up and then throwing them back down.

   "Sorry, your conversation was kind of boring." You chuckled as you took the earbud out of your ear. Ethan laughed too and Mindy shook her head.

   "Don't say I didn't warn you when your boyfriend reveals himself as ghost face." Mindy said, shrugging.

   Ethan swallowed hard and furrowed his eyebrows a bit, but tried to hide his expression.

   "Mindy I swear." You said, rolling your eyes and laughing.

  "I think we should go." Ethan said quietly, putting his head on your shoulder.

   "We just got here like 20 minutes ago." You giggled.

    He burrowed his head into your shoulder deeper and whined "Please Leila... I just want some time alone with you. Just you." He said, looking up to you with his dark puppy eyes.

   "Ok fine" you replied. "Guys I think me and Ethan are gonna head out and go back to the apartment now."

   "What are you guys gonna be up to in the apartment?" Chad smirked.

   Ethan's face got red and he looked flustered.

  "Nothing" you laughed.

   "If you're gonna do it, at least don't do it on the couch" Chad shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth as you two walked away.

   You scoffed and flipped him off.
