Maya's pov

As the girls were making their way to the changing room, I lingered slightly behind, uncomfortable with the idea of having to change in front of strangers. Seemingly sensing my discomfort, Tsu-Chan made her way up to me, careful to not provoke my flight or fight due to her sudden movements.

"Maya-Chan, if you are don't want to change with us, we can wait until you're finished?"

Suddenly feeling like a great burden, I rapidly shook my head almost knocking myself out.

"NO! I can change with all of you guys, don't worry I'm fine". I'll probably keep my scarf on while changing. So, as we all changed, my scarf stayed on, and the girls were asking questions about my religion.

"Maya, why do you wear that on your head" Uraraka asked, tilting her head slightly to show her curiosity.

My smile grew a little, warmth spreading through my body as I explained why I wore my hijab.

"It's for modesty reasons as in my religion, it is required to stay modest and obey God"

"Woah, Maya you're so dedicated!! Your eyes sparkle when you speak about your faith"

"That's because I hold it dear to my heart as it has carried me through all the tough times"

"Can you teach us some stuff?" My eyes started to prickle, and my smile grew unbearable wide.
With excited leaps, I nodded quickly while embracing the girls, already creating a bond.

After getting changed, we make our way to the grounds, where the boys and Mr Aizawa stood.

"Okay, Bakugo, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right" Aizawa started. "Then try throwing this ball with your quirk"

Bakugo steps up and into the circle, prepping for his throw. He is probably ging to do something dramatic. While I drifted off in thought, a massive blast followed by a "DIE" ripped me out of my daze and caused me to stare at the red-eyed boy with wide eyes. My eyesight might be shit but I can see a menace from a mile away. That being my first impression of Bakugo would probably have a long-lasting effect. Aizawa turned the machine and it read
"705.2"

The whole class gaped at Bakugo as he stomped his way back to the group, clearly expecting to do great. When that whole spectacle was over with, we were threatened with expulsion, nearly bringing me to tears on the first day. Not this goofy man trying to expel me ON MY FIRST DAY.
