𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙡 - 𝙞𝙯𝙪𝙠𝙪 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙮𝙖

Birthday special

This is occurring after everyone got moved into the dorms and Izuku and Maya went out to buy snacks for the class movie night.

Me and Izuku decided to go before Maghrib prayer so that we could get snacks and drinks for the class. Walking down the street, we made some light conversation about training.

"Maya, have you been able to control lava yet?"

Sorrow replaced my expression as thinking about my failures just reminds me of what a failure I am.
Just thinking aboit it makes my burns itch and blister.

"Not really aha, I've been burning myself on repeat and Cementos is as harsh as ever with the training. But I think that if I keep going, I'll be able to bend it in no time!"

With fake enthusiasm, I pump my fists in the air and slightly shift my feet. Midoriya smiles and starts mumbling on about his training to control the side effects of his quirk.

As I was staring at him, I realised just how lovely he is, like I was enchanted just by standing next to him. This night is flawless.

We arrive at the shop and start looking around. While Izuku was looking for everything and anything, I was scanning the ingredients to check if there was any pork or gelatine in it. With a sigh, I put down the pack of gummies and pout, knowing that my craving for sweets wouldn't be satisfied. I get strawberry pocky for Mina, gummy bears for Hanta, shrimp flavoured crisps for Denki, jalapeno crisps and a coke for Katsuki and matcha mochi for Ejiro. For me, I got some peach iced tea and paprika crisps.

While I was getting snacks for my friends, Izuku was able to get snacks for the rest of the class and we took our leave, not before stopping at a boba shop to get us a drink. Izuku went for a classic brown sugar with tapioca, and I went for my usual mango fruit tea with mango crystal bubbles.

Sipping and walking, I sense a small creature in the corner of the street.
Pausing, I look around and find a cardboard box in the alleyway, away from the crowded streets. Taking Izuku's arm in my hands, I quickly dragged him to the box and crouched down, already assuming that it's a kitten.

As we both leaned forward, the kitten meowed and leaned up, revealing its cute little face. It was a Havana brown cat with the prettiest green eyes that slightly reminded me of Izuku.

Izuku stretched out his hand and lifted the kitten up with slight tears in his eyes.

"How could anyone leave such a defenceless kitten here by itself! Maya, we are taking it back to the dorms"

"Wait Izuku, let's take it to the vets first and buy some supplies, I have enough money on me I think."

Checking my bank account, I saw that I had a sufficient amount of money so off we went to the vet.

The bus ride consisted of Izuku constantly whining about animal abuse and bursting into tears about the idea of "his baby" struggling to take care of herself.
Yes, the kitten is a girl and don't question how we found out. I thought it was rather nice seeing Izuku so passionate about this stray kitten even though he has just met her.

We arrived at the vet and gave the kitten to the doctor. Sitting in the waiting room, we decided to look up cute cat names.

"I think we should call her Mighty"

"Izuku, no."

"Well do you have any better suggestions"

"Yes I do, what about Meadow? Or Emerald?"

I hope I didn't make that too obvious. Their eyes just look so similar.

"i really like Meadow! Should we go with that?"

I deadpanned as my attempts completely went over his head and I just replied with a simple Ok.
As we waited, we went to the pet shop next door and got some stuff for the kitten like a milk bottle and a collar with the name Meadow on it in a shape of a flower.

Aizawa is going to kill us.
