CHAPTER 2

SAKURA POV

'Kami, why am I doing this?'  I thought as I sat into position of the seat. The seat was undeniably cold....and uncomfortable. I looked at the corner of the room to see Tenten, Ino, and Temari giving me a warm smile as Hinata mouthed me 'good luck.' I smiled at her. Hinata took few hours off from her training to see us audition. 

Then I heard the doorknob click as I saw Hiashi-sama, Hizashi-sama, Naruto-kun, and Sasuke-kun come in. 'What is he doing here? Isn't he supposed to be training or something?'  Is what I was thinking in my mind. I looked at Hinata only to find her confused as I was. 

"Risque is on a day off today, so me and Hizashi thought to assign one of the members to each of you to determine whether you guys become Trainees or not." Hiashi answered my question even though I have not said anything. 

"As for you, we thought to add two members, Naruto and Sasuke for you, Haruno Sakura" Hizashi  continued after Hiashi. 'Why do I feel like i'm being interrogated?--' 

"Sakura-chan, I know it feels like your being interrogated, trust me I know what that feels like. But that's what gets most people to mess up. And that's how they fail the audition and they do not get accepted. Don't worry. Just sing as you regularly would." Naruto-kun said with his usual grin which then turned serious as Sasuke-kun slightly nodded at Naruto-kun's words. 

"We are ready when you are." I heard Hiashi say. I nodded. I took a deep breathe and grasped on the mic that one of the staff has handed to me. 

I finished singing and saw them jotting down some notes. I felt my heart beat faster and faster as my heads started to sweat. Every second of silence scared me. 

"Sa-ku-ra...." I flinched and looked at the owner of the voice. It was Sasuke-kun. He seems to be calm. "You are skilled at singing, I'll give you that. I liked the way you softened your voice at the right moments of the song." He said nonchalantly. 'Did he just compliment me?--' I nodded as I felt my heart beat faster. "Arigato, Sasuke-kun." I said. 

"I felt like you were singing to me. I really liked that. It felt nostalgic for a moment." I heard Naruto-kun say with a serious but with a warm face. "I say we accept her!" Naruto-kun said standing up with a huge grin on his face. "I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to be the one to decide that, dobe" Sasuke-kun mumbled rolling his eyes. 

I saw Hiashi and Hizashi whispering to each other for few minutes until Hizashi coughed, making my full attention go on them. "Your accepted...especially since these two  have seemed to like your vocals. We will send a letter to your home with a key to your dorm by tomorrow morning, so pack up tonight. You will be sharing the dorm with few of those girls. Which is...if they get in." Hiashi finished motioning at Ino, Tenten, and Temari. I nodded. 

"Right..." I said, bowing at them. "Arigato, Hiashi-sama, Hizashi-sama, Naruto-kun, and Sasuke-kun." I replied which was returned with polite nods.

TENTEN POV

I saw Sakura-chan come out with a smile on her face. Ino squealed making me, Temari, and Hinata close our ears. After Ino was done with squeals we each congratulated Sakura-chan and gave her a hug. We noticed Sasuke-kun and Naruto-kun leaving the room as a tall man with a hood on enter the room. they exchanged few glances and left for their own ways. We couldn't tell who it was. But he seemed familiar. We were talking when I felt a staff tap on my shoulder with a smile. "You're next." She said as I nodded suddenly feeling a bottom-less pit in my stomach.
