jeongin was walking out of the school building when seungmin started:

"so are you gonna tell me why you suddenly left during lunch?" seungmin crossed him arms.

"oh yeah! while you guys were gone junkyu and his friends were being mean to me so a boy named chan stepped up for me and we ate lunch together!" jeongin explained.

"oh my gosh jeongin i'm so sorry! I should've stayed with you." seungmin looked down, ashamed of himself.

"no it's fine, thankfully chan was there!" jeongin exclaimed.

"who is this chan really? what grade is he in? are you sure you can trust him? was he making you uncomfortable?" seungmin questioned as his mom instincts kicked in.

"he was really nice, and..." jeongin paused and blushed, remembering what chan said to him at the rooftop.

"and?" seungmin asked.

"oh uh nothing! he was really nice to me the whole time, we even shared my lunch! he's also one year older than us." jeongin finished.

"one year older huh... you sure he's not trying to get into your pants?" seungmin questioned.

"h-huh?" jeongin looked confused.

"oh nothing forget it." seungmin said, remembering jeongin's innocence.

eventually the two boys parted ways to make their way home. as jeongin unlocked the door to his home he immediately went up to his bedroom and plopped onto his bed and went to check him and his friends groupchat.

'i should probably go take a shower..' jeongin thought as he got up to go to the bathroom.

he stepped into the shower as he felt the hot water drops slide down his skin. after his shower he picked out a simple white t-shirt and some grey shorts to wear.

the boy plopped back onto his bed and checked his phone to see that his friends apparently have been chatting without him.
