I'm finally back YAY! Any way I was gonna do another Lilith pov but then my whole idea for this chapter came together and I'm really excited. Maybe I should just make a one shots book about Lilith's adventures, that would be fun to do once I finish this book. Any who let's get to the chapter 

Eda pov:

I wave goodbye to Raine and start walking down the side walk to my house. I hope that Raine doesn't get into anymore trouble form their Mom. Their Mom really sucks. And if they do it oils be completely my fault. I should've been keeping track of time.

I pull out my scroll and open up the message app. I press on Lilith's contact.

E: Hey 👋 

L: What do you need Eda

E: I'm heading home, just so you know

L: Oh, ok I'll tell mom

E: Thanks 

L: She says she has some lunch for you

E: Ok, I'm pretty hungry 

L: K, see you soon

I turn it off and put it in my pocket. 

I start humming some random song that I can't remember the name of. I walk for a few minutes then I hear my scroll buzz again. I thought if was gonna be Lilith, but to my Surprise it was Raine.

R: Hi

E: Hey Raine

R: I need you help

E: With what, wait what happened!?

R: Chill, my mom is just mad at my again

E: Oh, so what happened 

R: Ummmm, she said she saw what happened outside

E: Shit

R: I need your help

E: Ok with what

R: Oh no, I gotta go

E: Wait

Shit, what would've happened. They said they needed my help why did they have to go.

I don't know but it's probably not good.

I start running home, scroll still in hand. I stay on Raines contact and try calling them.

Ring ring

Ring ring

No answer, I call them again 

Ring ring

No answer, this is bad they always answer.

Sure I'm probably overreacting but I'm really worried about them. And considering that their mom is mad at them, this can't be good. They wouldn't just end a conversation like that for no reason.

I knew why they always had bandages on their hands, and why some days they wore oversized hoodies all day, even when it was like 80 degrees Ferinhite out. (US temperature, because I can't spell) 

(I'm sorry but I had to add it for future purposes)

I would force them to tell me, well I was they only one that could get them to talk sometimes. They would never tell anyone else though and I couldn't make them. I tried to tell the principal, which I really hate, but, I wanted Raine to be safe. I tried telling the school counselor and she looked into it, but couldn't find any proof. I knew Raine wouldn't lie about something like that though.
