I wanted to share this poem I wrote last year about my crush at that time. I wrote it for English class and it's based off of the writing style of "Still I'll Rise" by Maya Angelou.
You may wonder, why me?
If only I could make sense of it all.
I wish it were that simple.
I cant help but fall.
There's something about you
Something in your eyes.
I cant help but stare
like Its a bright, magical Sky
Im always listening though I dont talk.
My fear of speaking with you is acting like a wall between me, you, us.
But I will continue to fall
Your personality, your voice, your everything

I kind of want to write poetry more often but I don't have many ideas. I'm better at writing short stories.
Speaking of a short story, I want to share a story I wrote about myself if any of you would be interested. I think it's a bit sad and it's a little long and not fully completed. It's missing some names but I think it's pretty good.
