Tanner is keeping his distance. Clearly he should do more research next time. Tanner decides to do some personal research. He leaves the house and drives to Onyx's house. When he arrives the door is unlocked just how he left it.

He searches the house for any information he doesn't already know. He finds a blood stain on a small black backpack. He looks inside the bag and finds Midazolam bottles, with syringes right next to them. He then finds a knife through a family picture on a bulletin board. He also finds information written down about random people. With a bloody fingerprint on each paper.

Tanner finally puts two and two together and realizes Onyx is a murderer too. Tanner is impressed. He clearly doesn't know anything about how dangerous this man could be. This excites him. Maybe they can be friends. Maybe Tanner doesn't have to kill him. Although, Onyx is still a threat. The laugh echoes in his mind and it sends chills down his spine. He gets scared but impressed. Did he just kidnap a psychopath... that's like him...?

Onyx POV while Tanner is at Onyx's house:

My body aches, I wiggle myself loose from the restraints and I try to walk to the door. I fell and hurt my knees half way. I then see everything going dark once again. Man, I hate getting kidnapped. I become limp on the ground and my eyes shut.

Tanner drives back to his house and when he enters the basement he sees Onyx has tried to escape. He sees he passed out again from complications and he begins to feel a little bad.

He uses the sympathy to have willpower to actually touch him, even though he fears this man, to tie him back up. He ties him back up gently but also so he can't get out.

Onyx wakes up soon and groans quietly. His body aches more from the fall. The effects are finally wearing off though. His vision is blurry at first but it adjusts to the light.

Tanner stares at him from across the table, sitting in a chair. He looks concerned but also excited.. somehow. "Um.. I saw your knees are bruised.. you tried to escape huh?"

"Obviously, I don't want to live here." Onyx was clearly aching and miserable but tried to be angry. It didn't go so well though.

Tanner saw how much he was aching because he was nearly at the brink of bleeding, the abrasions weren't that deep though. "Hopefully you won't be here long... but anyways.. I know a lot more about you."
