"The big question is will Bayley forgive me, or have I lost my daughter forever? Then truly, Trish has won my family. I'm not sure my connection with Roman is still strong, and that would be understandable, but the connection should still be there. Bayley is a different story, and I'm unsure how to make her understand. I've stayed away too long from her, but I needed to heal. How could I not see how gifted Bayley was? The pain she was in not having her true love with her. How could I've missed those signs and not believed Bayley when she said she found her true love? I just brushed it off and told her she didn't know what she was talking about." Lita thought to herself as she watched Summer leave. Lita had to find Sasha and Bayley and get them on her side. The question was, where did Sasha take Bayley?
Sasha couldn't believe that Bayley wasn't judging her but accepting her for her. "How did I get so lucky to find you after all these years," Sasha said, kissing Bayley passionately. "I'm the lucky one, and I want to marry you," Bayley said. Sasha couldn't believe what she had just heard Bayley say. "You want to marry me after all I've done?" Sasha asked Bayley. "Yes, I do, and I hope you will say yes to me. Sasha Banks, will you marry me?" Bayley asked, getting down on one knee. Sasha watched as Bayley pulled out a beautiful diamond ring. Sasha was lost for words. Sasha wonders how lucky she was to find Bayley that one day in the forest. Bayley started to worry that Sasha might say no. "Did she rush this too soon?" Bayley wondered to herself.
Bayley didn't know what to think, and she could remember when Sasha turned her down that day in the forest. Bayley decided to get up and turned to look at the water. Sasha was surprised by Bayley's movement, and a flash of memories came to her. Sasha could see the pain Bayley went through after she turned Bayley down. "Bayley, that day in the forest, I told you I did want to be with you. If I had slept with you there in the forest, it would have felt cheap. You deserve to be taken somewhere nice before we give in to desire. Plus, you still were underage, and you know your parents would have gone crazy if you disappeared."
Sasha told Bayley. Bayley was about to say something when she saw a memory Sasha was holding back. "This is a lovely ring, miss. The person getting this must be really special." The man said. "Yes, the person means the world to me, and I don't want to waste any more time without her. This ring shows my love for her and that I will never leave her side." Sasha told the salesman. The sale man smiled at Sasha and placed the ring in a bag. "Well, I hope she says yes to you. Thank you for your business." The man said. Bayley couldn't believe what she just saw. Sasha was going to ask her to marry her.Bayley turned to face Sasha, "When did you buy a ring? When were you going to ask me?" Bayley asked. "When I left on my trip, I came across a shop, and the ring was in the window. Instantly I knew that ring was right and wanted to buy it for you. I knew how much I hurt you when I left, and I missed you every day we were apart. I knew my trip took longer than expected, and I wasn't sure if you were still upset with me. Then I noticed you stopped coming to the clearing, and every time you didn't show up further, I fell into depression. I kept the ring on me, hoping that we would cross paths. The more we stayed apart, I lost myself without you." Sasha said.
Bayley could see in Sasha's memory the depression that she went into and the jobs she had taken. Sasha tried to block the memory, and she didn't want Bayley to see the monster she had become to bury her pain of not knowing what had happened to her. Bayley watched Sasha fall deeper into depression. The type of jobs she took to help relieve the pain she was in. Bayley knew how Sasha felt and how depression could overshadow everything.
Sasha turned away from Bayley, hoping to stop the memories from returning. Losing Bayley the first time was hard on her, and she didn't want to go through that again. Sasha was surprised when she felt Bayley wrap her arms around her waist. "Sasha, take a deep breath and let it out slowly. Do it as many times as you need to clear your thoughts. I don't want to see your memories unless you want me to." Bayley said, holding Sasha close. Bayley could feel Sasha's body start to relax. Sasha didn't know what she did in her life to have Bayley in it, but she didn't ever want to lose her again.
"Bayley, can we go home and just cuddle? I want your arms around me." Sasha said without turning around to face Bayley. "We can do whatever you want. I'm fine cuddling up on the couch and watching a good movie." Bayley said. Sasha thought it would be nice, but she didn't have a favorite movie. Sasha never had the time to slow down enough to enjoy a movie. "That sounds like a plan, but I don't watch movies. I've never slowed down enough to watch any. I wouldn't even know what's good." Sasha said.
"Let's just go lay in the hammock and enjoy each other company. It looks like it's going to be a nice night. Plus, I like looking at the stars and relaxing under the moonlight." Bayley said. "That sounds nice. I haven't looked at the star for over 80 years. I get caught up in something, and the next thing I know, it's morning. Before we do that, I need to get you something to eat. What do you want?" Sasha said. "Chicken and potatoes sound good. I can go to the store and buy myself something to make for dinner."Bayley said. Sasha could tell Bayley was blocking memories and was trying to stay calm.
Sasha couldn't tell if the memories Bayley had seen bothered her. Can Bayley still look past what she had done to deal with losing her? Sasha wrapped her arms around Bayley, and in a few seconds, they were back at home. Sasha was about to say something to Bayley, but Bayley beat her. "Your phone is going off," Bayley said, walking to the backyard to give Sasha privacy. Sasha was puzzled by Bayley's action as she picked up her phone. Sasha looked at the text messages that had come over. There were a few from Becky asking for updates on Bayley and surprising a couple from Summer.
Sasha texted Becky back that Bayley was doing good and asked if there was any process for finding out who put the devices in Bayley's room. While Sasha waited for Becky's reply, Sasha read Summer's text. "Sasha, first, I wanted to know how Bayley is doing. Second, I have someone that wants to meet you and Bayley. The person has information on Bayley's mom and the day she got shot." The first text message read, "Sasha, I have someone asking to meet you and Bayley. They said they had information on the day Bayley's mom was shot. What happened after the shooting? Please let me know if you two will meet with them." Summer text. Sasha wasn't sure if this person could be trusted, and she didn't want the person to harm Bayley. I wasn't sure how to answer Summer until she talked to Bayley. Sasha had no plans on leaving Bayley out of the decision, and she would need Becky's help as well. "Becky, do not tell anyone you are going to leave. I need your help and will tell you where to find me and Bayley." Sasha texted.
