The pink-headed boy thought of the blonde maiden he had encountered the other day. She was different. She didn't run away in fear. She didn't call for help like the other maidens he had encountered when he was in his disguise. She simply threw a water ball at his direction when he had ignited himself on fire.

He thought of how angelic and cute she giggled. He would like to meet her again, soon. He would like to make her smile and laugh again. Is this love at first sight ? Maybe. This might just be a physical attraction towards her. She is very beautiful, she might already have a lover.

The thought of her having a lover caused a frown to form on his face.

It has been a few days since he had encountered the beautiful maiden. He always went to the top of the waterfall, waiting to see the maiden again. She didn't come to the waterfall again and he didn't smell her scent in the forest again either.

She just made him feel so normal. She didn't make him feel like the blood lust monster he could be. He felt lighter than usual when he talked to her. It was like nothing mattered to him but making the maiden in front of him happy.

The maiden was the constant thing in his mind since she had left him in the middle of the forest. He thought of getting a request in Fairy Tail to keep his mind off of the blonde.

He jumped off the bed and showered to head to Fairy Tail. When he had finished showering he wore his open vest and tied his scarf on his neck. He hid the scar on his neck. He wasn't sure but he thought that maybe the leading knight saw his scar and might track him down. He wasn't sure thought so it wasn't a big deal on his mind right now, but just to be safe, he hid it with his scarf.

He walked on the path to Magnolia. When will he meet the blonde again ? Will the blonde bathe in the waterfall again ? Was she even bathing there ? Or was she simply playing in the water ?

The Salamander thought that her scent was familiar. Not the everyday scent that he smelled in Magnolia, but a scent that he would usually smell in the building of Fairy Tail. He only gone to Fairy Tail when he needed money.

When he had reached the two big wooden doors of Fairy Tail he kicked it open as usual and smirked his way to the request board, feeling high and mighty. When he reached the request board, he saw a familiar blonde with the same scent as the one he met near the waterfall.

He was shocked, to be honest. He had imagined of certain scenarios of them meeting again, but he had never thought she was a member of Fairy Tail. Some of the missions are dangerous to a beautiful blonde like her. She must be very brave, she wasn't even afraid of him.

He thought of keeping his cool so he won't look so petty and weak in front of her. He stood behind her as he pretended to be focusing on finding a perfect job.

He thought of things to say but nothing perfect came to mind so he thought of winging it. "So . . . your part of Fairy Tail, huh ?", the blonde flinched and immediately turned around to see a pink-headed man smirking. He thought it was a stupid thing to say, but what else could he say ?

Surprisingly, a raven haired man was heading towards the blonde. "Hey Luciana-chan !", the raven haired man greeted. The blonde frowned as she faced the raven headed boy. "Lucy' or Heartfilia, never Luciana.", the blonde said with obvious irritation.

Fairy Tail weren't a family or a guild to be exact. They were simply an alliance just like Sabertooth and Lamia Scale that accepts requests to make a living for the people in town or rather the mages to be exact. They knew the names of the members, but all of them weren't exactly friends with each other.

"Oh sorry ! I forgot. *cough* Is this guy new in Fairy Tail ?", Fullbuster asked, gesturing to the pink-headed man. "By the way, call me Gray, instead of the usual.", Heartfilia nodded and smiled.

"This is my friend, the Sala-", his eyes widened and he quickly clamped her mouth shut with his hand. "Shhh !", he shushed as he glared at Lucy. Gray raised a suspicious brow. "Uhh . . . let me borrow Lucy for a sec.", Salamander was about to take Lucy to a more private place ,but he was stopped when Lucy stepped on his foot.

"This is 'Salad'.", she said gesturing to the man. Salamander's head had a tick mark but another part of him sighed in relief.

Lucy giggled while Gray chuckled. "Kidding. Kidding. I don't know his name. I just met him a few days ago.", Gray nodded.

Lucy took a paper out of the request board. "See you later boys, I got a mission to do.", she said as she waved the paper in her hands and went out. So . . . her name is Lucy. It fits her well. . .

"You look new here. Are you new ?", Gray asked.

"Uhh . . no. I only head here at least once a week.", Salamander said as he scratched the back of his head.

"Umm . . . Heartfilia-she's . . . uhh", he didn't know what to say. He just thought of asking about the blonde.

"She's Luciana Heartfilia. She doesn't like being called Luciana thought, she prefers Lucy more. You're not the only one who's got eyes for her.", Gray added.

"Eh ? What do you mean ?", Salamander raised a brow.

"It's obvious on how you look at her. She's the most beautiful girl here in Fairy Tail. Every guy wants her.", Gray pointed out.

"I'm Gray. Gray Fullbuster.", Gray reached a hand out for Salamander to shake.

"I'm Natsu. Natsu Dragneel.", he shook his hand. Gray had a confused face on.

"Are you related to the-", Natsu cut him off.

"The Dragions ?", Natsu asked.

The surname 'Dragion' was the family name of the rulers of Dark Raid Kingdom, which is now ruled by Zeref Dragion.

Gray nodded. "No. I'm not related to them. I was raised by a dragon, but I get that a lot.", Natsu grinned. "Uhh . . . I gotta go."
