Kira's family wished her luck as she set off to the office where the rest of the interns were. She walked in as everyone stared at her like she was on fire. The tall man at the first of the room stood there with a piece of chalk in his hand and a chalk board beside him. She sat in the white chair in front of her, beside her was a young intern at the age of 17, same as Kira. Kira asked her what her name was, she whispered, Laura Kennington. Laura was from, London, Ontario, Canada. Laura and Kira walked through the hospital together. They ended up becoming the best of friends. Now Laura and Kira can both go back to their families and say they met a friend in the first day of their internship.
