Chapter 1-1

When the young boy slowly woke up, his eyes noticed other technology based devices and items. As his eyes fully adjusted what he was looking at, he scanned the place, his eyes glances at his siblings and parents in maka rooms, still unconscious.

It seems that the lady Arcadian in the room noticed he was awake, as it gain her to dart her eyes over towards his direction; which Kyo soon realizing that girl being Maki. She stood up from the chair she was sitting on, strolling over towards him with a gentle smile.

She soon glances around the room, looking for something. Until she spots the thing she was looking for, allowing her to walk over towards it, turning back towards the young male. She held a white small ear like piece, before she gently presses buttons on the clear device, that was floating above her forearm.

Kyo slightly flinched from the wires sliding out from under his flesh, whilst the glass door opens up with a puff of oxygen flowing out.

"Before coming out, put these in your ear, so you won't die of suffocation from oxygen loss" Maki spoke, handing him the ear pieces. He felt oddly weak, but had enough strength to grab the ear pieces and putting them in his ear, before he steps out the maka room.

Kyo glances around the room, getting interested about the new technology and bots around the place. Until his eyes went to Maki's attention, as she gently smiles.

"How are you feeling?" She softly spoke, glazing over him, like he was an intriguing master piece.

It took Kyo awhile to reply, as he processes what's happening and where he was currently is at. "I feel... different?" He states, slightly confused from that statement himself. Maki nodded her head, as she presses more things on the floating clear device.

"Like... you grew a few years?" She exclaims, glancing at him with a raised eyebrow. Which Kyo nodded with his confused expression, as he crosses his arms.

"Well.. you did. You grew up 7 years because I guess that's how light years do for you all..." She spoke, as she captures the confusion in the males facial features.

"7 years? I'm 23 now?" He spoke, shocked and still slightly confused. She nods, as she glances back at her floating clear device.

"I guess, but I'll show you to where you'd be staying! You'd still be one of our lab pets, but we're not just going to lock you all up in the maka rooms.. we're not evil" she spoke sweetly, as she allows the floating clear device, float back on the table. Before she leads them towards the door out of the lab and into a hallway.

The hallway was also catch Kyo's attention, as the white long hallway brightly shined. Both walls presenting big windows, as it reveals the land of Starmade planet. The green grass, clear water, and flying like cars. Kyo's eyes widen, as he glances out the window.

His eyes scans the beautiful landscape, as the Arcadians lived on their normal lives. Big building with intriguing builds filled the streets with other small buildings, as the flying cars move throughout the streets, with big screens that they will have in Tokyo; show advertisements of their own. As Kyo looks down, he notices how high up they were.

"Do you like our planet so far?" Maki spoke, breaking the daze he was in, as he glances over at her.

"Yeah... it's.." He pauses, taking another look outside of the window. "It's beautiful and amazing" He states afterwards, still amazed by the beauty of planet Starmade.

"Well, thanks!" She spoke sweetly with a gentle smile, gaining the male's attention back. "Let's keep going though" She exclaims, starting to walk once more, which kyo followed right behind her.
