Chapter 9

Lily's P.O.V

I woke up on Grayson's bare chest. His eyes slowly opened, he smiled at me, leaning down and kissing my forehead. I know he cheered me up last night but when he fell asleep I went into the living room and cried for at least two hours. Keeping my feelings in was the biggest mistake I've ever made.

I realised I didn't take my makeup off last night so my face was almost definitely a mess. Hoping he didn't notice, I hid my face in his chest.

"What's up?" He lifted my head up, wiping his thumb over my cheek.

"Nothing" I sighed, moving myself up, closer to his face, kissing his lips.

"Mhm" he gave me a look, kissing me back then pulling away quickly.

"Grayson, love me" I groaned, causing him to laugh.

"I'm hungry, get me food" he pushed me off of him, making me fall off the bed.

"you're so lazy, get it yourself-" I was cut off by my phone buzzing. I got my phone, looking at the text I just received.

From ' Birth Giver'

Hello honey, we all hope you're settling in, in your new apartment. Sophia is going to visit your cousins for the weekend so Tyler, your father and I were planning on coming round. We'll bring Chinese food or something, sorry if it's a bit sudden, just say if aren't busy tonight. Can't wait to see your new place x

"My mom wants to come round later... Should I tell her about you?!" I looked at Grayson.

"My parents know about you, they've met you. Babe, I think it is time you told them" he laughed "I don't mind as long as I get food" he mumbled.

"You might as well wait half an hour. We woke up late, it's quarter to twelve" I laughed at him.

To 'Birth Giver'

Hey mama, I'd love for you to all come round later, especially with Chinese food. Tell Soph that I hope she has a nice time and not to let Tobi eat too much sugar this time. I have some news for you all and I'm not sure how you'll take it, I wish to tell you before you come tonight, Dad has all the details of where my apartment is. I'll see you all later x FaceTime so I can tell you my news...

I want to FaceTime to tell them the news so I can see how they react.

'Incoming FaceTime call from 'Birth Giver''. I answered on my laptop so the screen is bigger...

"hello sweetheart, how's everything?" My dad asked when they appeared on the screen. I gave Grayson a look to not make any nouse and he did as I ordered. I walked, with my laptop, into the living room, sitting on the couch.

"Hey Papi, it's so nice here" I put my hand on the couch, next to me, looking round the room in awe.

My mom and Tyler appeared on the screen. "Sweetie it looks very... You" mom smiled, such a mom thing to say.

"What's your news then?" Dad asked, Tyler gave me a look as he knew already.

"Well a few months ago I met someone, someone amazing in fact and I feel really guilty for not telling you for so long. I have a boyfriend, basically..." not gonna lie, I could've worded that better.

"What?!" My dads protective side came out.

"Daniel." My mom warned "well that's wonderful honey, where is he?" She smiled.

"He's in bed, we were putting all my stuff away until late last night" I semi lied.

"Can we see him, like now?" Dad asked.

"Oh, um, sure. One second" I put my laptop on the coffee table, in front of the couch. "Grayson!" I called, he walked into the living room, fully dressed. He was wearing tan khaki shorts and a plain white tank top that showed of his muscles perfectly... Carried away? Carried away.

He sat down next to me, putting his arm around me. I don't think he noticed them on my laptop. He started searching through tv channels.

"Grayson, this is my mom, my dad and my brother... Tyler" Grayson's head turned to the screen and he sat forward on the couch.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't notice. It's so nice to meet you- well... I've heard so much about you all" he spoke politely. I smiled at him, he's adorable.

"I guess we'll meet properly tonight" Mom smiled, dad had a mix of emotions written all over his face and Tyler looked purely annoyed.

"Great" I fake smiled "see you then" I hung up, not letting them speak.

"What was all that about?" Grayson asked, standing up and walking to the kitchen.

"I'm scared at how they'll all behave" I started biting my nails out of stress, following him to the kitchen. "Do we even have food?" I walked to the fridge.

"I filled it up before you came so you didn't have to go and get stuff" he grinned, kissing the back of my neck then going back to maki himself toast.

"Geez, you went all out" I opened the fridge, looking through all the shelves. I took out the carton of custard, possibly my favourite thing, ever.

"You're having that for breakfast?" He asked while chuckling slightly.

"Judge me" I cut the tip open and poured a load into a brand new bowl. There's something satisfying about using something for the first time.

I walked back into the living room and jumped, lightly, on the couch. Grayson walked in with his plate and lifted my legs up, sitting down and laying them across my lap.

After about a minute of eating I stopped, looking down at my half full bowl. He stopped eating and looked at me.

"I want toast now" I groaned. He shook his head, laughing. He picked up his other piece of toast and putting it to my mouth, I took a bite and he pulled it away, eating it for himself.

"You know what we are?" He laughed to himself and looked at me.

"Weird? Stupid? Idiotic?" I started listing things and he cut me off.

"We're relationship goals"
