after school the group went to the hospital to visit tara.

amber was standing next to tara's bedside while carly was sitting at the end of the bed by tara's feet.

mindy slapped chad's arm as he laughed. mindy noticed he was laughing at carly who was glaring at amber who was talking shit about her to tara. she had to hold back a laugh also.

"okay, that's enough amber. carly's right there." wes said noticing that carly was getting pissed.

tara nodded in agreement. "sorry to say it but you're being a bitch. stop amber. carly has done nothing wrong."

"she broke up with you and left you hurt." amber protested.

"what the hell? from what i remember, it was a mutual decision." carly looked at tar who agreed with her.

amber looked to everyone else and noticed they were all agreeing with carly and tara.

amber was about to say something but the door opened and sam and some guy walked in.

everyone stood up as they walked towards tara. carly and amber stood next to each other and shared a look.

"how you feeling?" sam walked towards tara's bedside and crouched down.

tara smiled. "you came."

"of course i came." sam looked back at the guy she brought with her. "this is my boyfriend, richie."

richie walked towards tara and smiled at her. "it's nice to meet you. i'm so sorry for intruding." tara smiled and waved at him.

sam walked over and gave the twins and wes a hug. sam stopped in front of carly, not sure if carly would let her hug her.

carly noticed her hesitation and pulled sam into a hug. "i may hate you right now but i love your hugs." carly said and sam chuckled. amber side eyed the two.

sam turned towards richie and started introducing everyone. "this is chad and mindy, the twins. and wes and carly. i used to babysit them all."

"which is how we've always been introduced." wes joked.

"and amber. hey." amber sent sam a small smile. "nice to see you." amber said.

carly noticed a look that richie gave amber and immediately became suspicious of him. she knew she shouldn't be since they all just met him but there was something about the look he was giving amber that confused her.

"hi, richie." amber returned the look richie had given her. what the fuck.

sam asked tara about their mom but tara told her that their mom was in london at a conference.

carly rolled her eyes. the least their mom could do was fly home for her daughter after she was attacked but no.

amber spoke up. "look tara's really tired. we should all let her rest."

"not you sam. you stay too, car." tara said and amber rolled her eyes and followed everyone out of the room as carly walked back to the edge of tara's bed and sat down.

a few hours later, they caught up. poor sam thought carly and tara were still together but was in for a shock after finding out that they broke up their junior year and thanks to tara, sam found out that carly was now messing around with someone.

sam won't let her live that down till she finds out who the person is.

sam decided to stay the night but carly denied saying that she didn't want to intrude and left to go to the bar where chad told her to meet them at.
