I manage to clear my head after roaming around the crowded fair full of excited young adults making commitments to various clubs they probably won't ever attend just for free merchandise. I too had collected my share of t-shirts, pens, notepads, and treats in exchange for false commitments.

I manage to make my way back to Sterling's fraternities's table where I'm not surprised to still find Eryn there. It had been about 2 hours since we both arrived at the fair and i'm guessing she hasn't left Sterling's side for a second to sign up for one club. I'm kind of of happy that she has not made it over to any of the sororities' tables to sign up for recruitment without me. Joining the same sorority has always been a dream of ours, along with attending the same college.

Eryn spots me and the boredom quickly leaves her face and is replaced with a small smile. The guys were busy talking to possible members so she had just been standing there alone waiting for them to finish.

"Geez girl where were you," Eryn says as she approaches me, grabbing the can of cherry Pepsi from my hand and taking a long sip.

"Exploring the fair," I say motioning behind me to all the tables and tents as if the answer to that question was obvious. I take my drink back and wipe off the top."And I would prefer not to have Sterling's germs on my soda."

"Whatever, it's not the first time" she responds rolling her eyes and looking off in Sterling's direction. He and one of his frat brothers were still talking with a group of guys and handing them flyers with information about their fraternity.

"So are you ready to go and check out the sororities and sign up for recruitment," I ask grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the section where all of the sororities tables are before she had the chance to respond.

"Well I guess I don't have a choice," Eryn responds sassily as she takes her hand away from me and walks quickly to catch up to the pace that I was dragging her.

We get to the first sorority table, and we begin to listen to their short speech about their sorority and take their flyer. As we start walking to the next sorority's table, I notice the familiar matching T-shirts that I had fled from earlier. I then spot the same beautiful girl that was hugged up on Levi earlier, Ashlyn. I don't notice that I have slowed my pace dramatically until Eryn gives me a small nudge.

"Come on, this is the sorority that we were researching the other day and really liked," Eryn says pulling me along to the table. To be completely honest I always dreamed of Eryn and I being a part of this sorority and once we found out that Sterling joined their brother fraternity, I knew Eryn would be on board. Once we got to the table my anxiousness about the entire situation with Levi and Ashlyn dissolved and I became wrapped in anticipation and excitement to embark on this adventure with Eryn. All the girls were so beautiful. Their faces were beat to perfection and their hair glamourously styled. They looked as if they belonged in a magazine. In an instant, I wanted so badly to be a part of this sisterhood and hopefully, gain the glow that all these girls have, not to mention all of their values.
