The next morning, I wake up to the smell of coffee brewing and the bright sunlight shining through my window. I sit up in bed and brush my hair out of my face. My messy bun had obviously come undone during the night; I search my bed for the hair band that had once held my hair together.

"Good morning sunshine! Get dressed, we have a long day," Eryn says walking into my room and handing me a cup of coffee. She had made it just the way I like, with hazelnut creamer and the perfect amount of sugar. She was already fully dressed in a beautiful lavender sun dress and enjoying a cup of coffee while reviewing a syllabus for her college algebra class.

"But it's only 10 am," I groan laying back down on my bed. Eryn was always the early bird. She found the quietness of early mornings to be peaceful. I on the other hand, prefer the night.

"Come on we still need to go to the mall and the bookstore." Classes literally start tomorrow and neither of us have bought our textbooks or any supplies. We were so focused on decorating our dorm we didn't get any of the "important stuff".

"Fine but what's the mall trip for," I say getting up. "Do we need a reason to go shopping," Eryn responds looking at me as if the answer was obvious.

After I down my coffee I go into the bathroom, brush my teeth, shower, and wash my hair. I was pretty sure it was filthy after the party last night. I throw on a short denim dress, my white sandals and neatly put my hair into a high bun.

I sit down at my desk and print the syllabus for each of my classes. I am taking five classes total this semester: Creative writing, college algebra, English literature, music history, intro to French language. Three of those classes both Eryn and I are in together; we did it purposely. We thought it would be amazing to share some classes so we can still study together. After we both write down a list of what textbooks and supplies, we both agree it's time to go. We take the bus to the mall and arrive 30 minutes later.

"Victoria secret has their 10 for $30 panty sale," Eryn says pointing to the sign in front of their entrance as we are walking through the mall.

"You say that as if we weren't already going in there," I say with my eyebrow raised and walk into their entrance.

I purchase 20 pair of panties and 3 bras and Eryn purchases 10 pairs of panties, 2 matching sports bras, and a new lipstick. After Victoria secret we shop in Forever 21 raiding their sale section and stop in Bath and Body Works and grab some or the new Fall scents.

"I'm craving some sesame chicken," Eryn says as we approach the food court.

"Eh, I want a taco," I say looking for the purple Taco ell sign.

"Okay well I'm gonna go grab my Chinese and meet you at that table," Eryn said pointing to an empty table close to Taco Bell.

Once I reach the Taco Bell register, I order two soft taco Supremes' and a Baja blast freeze. I finally get my food after a little wait and head to the table where Eryn is already sitting.
