Beomgyu was walking through the park on a warm summer afternoon when he saw someone familiar sitting on a bench. It was his childhood friend, Huening Kai, whom he hadn't seen in years. Beomgyu's heart raced as he approached him.
"Kai, is that really you?" Beomgyu asked, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Kai looked up and smiled, "Beomgyu! I can't believe it's really you. How have you been?"
Beomgyu sat down next to him, feeling a rush of nostalgia as he looked at his old friend. He had always admired Kai for his outgoing personality and kind heart, and those feelings came rushing back to him as they caught up on each other's lives.
As they talked, Beomgyu couldn't help but feel a flutter in his chest every time Kai laughed or smiled. He had always found him attractive, but now his childhood crush was coming back with full force.
Beomgyu tried to push those thoughts aside, but the more time he spent with Kai, the stronger his feelings became. He found himself daydreaming about Kai and wishing he could be with him.
One day, Kai invited Beomgyu to hang out at his place, and Beomgyu couldn't resist. As they watched a movie together, Beomgyu's heart was racing. He wanted to tell Kai how he felt, but he was too scared of ruining their friendship.
After the movie, Kai walked Beomgyu to the door and gave him a tight hug. Beomgyu felt his heart skip a beat as he held him close.
"I'm glad we reconnected, Beomgyu. You're still one of my best friends," Kai said with a smile.
Beomgyu felt a pang of sadness at the word "friends," but he forced a smile and said goodbye. As he walked away, he couldn't help but wonder if he should take a chance and tell Kai how he felt.
Days turned into weeks, and Beomgyu couldn't stop thinking about Kai. He missed him terribly and regretted not telling him how he felt. He decided to take a chance and call him, but when he did, Kai revealed that he had started dating someone else.
Beomgyu's heart sank as he heard the news. He realized that he had missed his chance with Kai and that he would have to move on.
Despite the heartache, Beomgyu was grateful for the memories he shared with Kai and the childhood friendship they had. He knew he would always cherish those moments, even if they never turned into something more.
