The Power within me

Chapter 5

Lucy woke up with a wide smile on. She was planning to meet the girls today and tell them about her decision. She got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom to freshen up.
Lucy is the only child of her parents.

She joined her parents for breakfast. When they were done, she went out of the house and went straight to one of the girls house.

She knocked on the door. After a while of waiting,the door was opened. The girl had a sinister smile on because she knew what Lucy had come for.

"Come in, there's no one at home" the girl said to her. When they got in, Lucy told her about the decision she made.

"Well then,it's settled,the others will join us soon and we will go straight to the witch". "The witch!!! I thought we were asked not to get near the witch's territory, isn't it dangerous to go there?" Lucy asked fearfully.

"No worries, as long as we have something to offer,she will do us no harm"one of the girls who just got in said. Lucy was startled,she jumped out of fear.

"When did you guys get inside? You scared me."

"I see you have made your decision on what to do" the girl said avoiding her question. "Yes, I have decided that we should kidnap her but it shouldn't be to hurt her. I just want it to serve as a warning for her to stay away from Will" Lucy said.

"Okay, let's go then"

"What are we going to offer?" Lucy asked. "Don't worry, once we get ther we will know" she replied.

They went through the market to the woods. Everywhere was bright and sunny. After walking for a long time, they got to a part of the forest that was different from the other parts. It was dark and cloudy, giving an eerie vibe.

Lucy got goosebumps seeing how  dark it was.
They continued walking till they got to a little cottage. The color of the house was full. Lucy's heartbeat increased due to fear.

"No need to be scared Lucy" one of girls said as if sensing her fear.
