Rise Of The Serpents

Year 1,Chapter I

The raven haired boy was waiting his turn at the sorting. A blond haired boy went up and after around 30 seconds the hat shouted "Hufflepuff." The boy zoned out as the hat shouted various houses,he was going to get Gryffindor,wasn't he?

He was drawn from his thoughts as a bushy haired hazel eyed girl was called. The hat contemplated for a good five minutes before deciding on Slytherin. The girl hurried to the table clad in emerald green. She sat next on the end of a table.  He was again drawn from his thoughts when a red head was called. The hat contemplated yet again but for a shorted time than it had for the girl with hazel eyes. The boy was also sorted in the house of serpents and he sat next to the hazel eyed girl. They both engaged in conversation. The raven haired boy was trying and failing to listen to what they were talking about when the professor called

"Potter,Harry"

The boy walked up to the stool and the hat was placed on his head. The hat dig into his mind and found a ginormous desire, the desire to prove himself. At this desire the hat made its decision. The hat shouted

"Slytherin"

Needless to say everyone was shocked into silence. A Potter,in Slytherin? It was never heard of before and whispers started shortly after the raven haired boy made his way to the table which seated the house of serpents. The boy was confused needless to say but he just shrugged it off as he engaged in conversation with the red head and the hazel eyed girl.

A/n: Hi umm idk what to think of this,I promise the chapters will get longer as the story goes on. So.....
