I was running, panting heavilly, when they caught me. As soon as his fingers grasped my arm I knew it wasn't going to work. They injected something into my arm. Only I didn't know what.
Slowly my vision blurred and started to fade away.
What's happening?
Then I remembered the syringe and I knew they had put me asleep.
That was my last thought until everything went completely black.

It was a dreamless blackness and I woke up by voices around me.
Slowly opening my eyes adjusting to the light, I found myself chained to a bed in a cold room with cement walls at three sides and by the last there were prison bars, and a door with smaller bars than the other large ones.
At some places on the cement walls there were chalk paintings, as if someone had painted there with a rock. The paintings consisted of birds in different shapes. Some were eagles by a stream catching fish with their claws.
It felt like freedom.
Something I knew deep in my gut I wouldn't feel for a while.
After taking in my surroundings I got up and pulled myself closer to the metal bars. The injection and the chain were both holding me back from being able to walk normally. I took a hold of the bars and took a look outside my cell.
I saw a huge room with similar prison cells as my own. Each an empty room with but a bed and a blanket. Across the floor I watched as a man arose from his position on the floor with chains rustling. As he walked towards his bars, he locked eyes with me.
His eyes told me of brutal fights and deaths. His dirty t-shirt was tight and showed he was a man of strength. Scars on his arms would tell of his rough experiences. His jeans were ripped but still hugged his legs tightly, and by his ankle there was the same chain that was stuck beside his bed. Looking back up at his face I saw his strong jawline and his full lips.
A feeling spread in my stomach just by looking at this man. He was so manly and it hurt in places I never would have imagined.
I was abruptly pulled back to reality by his soft, honey voice.
"Hey, beautiful" he said while looking at me, his eyes dark. "What did you do to end up in here?"
I looked at him and debated wether I should tell him or not.
But before I had fully decided, guards had swarmed into the room and gathered as a wall around an empty cell to the right of the one infront of me. One of the guards that was likely to be the one higher in rank came forth and opened the cell.
The guards' wall-like structure was built forth as a path between them from the door of this hallway and to the cell. No one from the outside would be able to see when a new captive walked into the room and into their cell.
Luckily for me, some younger guards did not completely shut the path and I soon set eyes on the person they had captured. He looked to be around twenty years old and his face wasn't shaved so he had stubbles on his jaw and chin. His hair was dirty, messy and a darkbrown color. But what startled me the most was his eyes.
They held the most light-green color I had ever seen in a person. He was mesmerizing. He then looked at me and I gasped as his eyes met mine. My grip on the bars hardened for support.
What is with me and men today? I'm acting so strange.
I knew I did not have the nicest body or looks, neither had I ever been wanted by any man before last week. But having these men look at me the way they did, made me rethink it all.
