ELIZABETH DUNNE: I think I thought I would get over it soon enough. Keep it between Camila and I, carry on as if nothing happened. But, that's not how sexual assault works. It's like every little thing that had no effect on you before, suddenly was the biggest trigger in the world. Like every backhanded comment was the twist of a knife that made me bleed with every new turn.

"Again with the legs man," Warren says, Daisy walking into the studio with a small pair of denim shorts on. Eddie agreeing with Warren, he adds, "Dude, I know."

Lizzie takes the guitar strap off from around her shoulder and places it on her lap, an attempt to cover up the top of her legs. She had already tried her absolute best to cover up as much as possible in the recent weeks, despite Camila telling her at the time that her outfit was not the issue. She just couldn't accept that.

"I'm a leg guy, you know? That's just a fact."

She begins to jog her leg in anxiousness, biting her nail as the look in her eyes showed nothing but fear. Yet, nobody picked up on the body language at all. Not a single soul.

"And those legs? They just got me a little distracted is all I'm saying..." Warren continues, Eddie nodding along.

ELIZABETH DUNNE: (Sighs) I beat myself up over it, you know? They were my friends, but the way they spoke about women... how could I tell they were any different than the guy I experienced? They were just verbalising what he committed.

"Warren, right?" Daisy asks, standing in front of the two men.

"Yeah."

"You know it's not my job to turn you on, right?" she states, chewing her gum, truly astounding them both.

He begins to stutter, "I-I do... now."

She fake smiles, "Great," before walking straight over to Lizzie, gently giving her a hug, one which she half returns.

However, the words Daisy whispers in her ear shock her even more than her comment to the boys, "It's not your fault."

ELIZABETH DUNNE: She could read me like a book. I guess you can recognise the signs pretty well when you've lived through it yourself.

Daisy lets go, walking back up to the microphone and staring daggers into Eddie and Warren's eyes, making sure they got the message well and truly.

"All right everybody, I just want to say a few things before we get started. First off, we have a new member of the band," Billy says, signalling to Daisy who was comfortably sitting on her stool. "So let's hear it for Daisy Jones."

Everyone began clapping, Lizzie supporting a small smile as Daisy was officially welcomed into the group.

"Thank you for being here and for doing this with us."

"Thank you for having me."

"So, it's been what, four weeks?"

Daisy interrupts Billy, her notebook now in hand, "I wrote a song. Well, actually I've written about twenty songs I'd like to play for you guys." She breathes out, "Sorry. I wasn't trying to cut you off or anything. I was just... I'm excited about it, so..."

The whole room remains silent at her enthusiasm, everyone looking at the floor. "What?" she asks, a smile still gracing her face.

BILLY DUNNE: The songs were all written and ready to go.

ELIZABETH DUNNE: And this is Billy Dunne we're talking about. He isn't changing for anybody. He barely let us write our own parts.

He coughs, "Well, Daisy, the great news is, we, uh... we actually have what, thirteen songs for the album, so..." Daisy nods as he continues, "Yeah, I mean, why don't we play you some, and then, uh, you can have a listen, see if you... feel strongly about any of them or, you know, want to add anything. You know?"
