Chapter 18

Marcus's POV

Today I feel like would be the perfect time to talk to my daughter because I haven't officially apologized to her about her birthday. I also knew that I had to talk to Roc as well. Knocks on the door. Slowly opens. "Hey dad," Tasha says. "Hey sweetie. I bet your wondering why Im here. Well I'm here because I wanted to give a full apology from your birthday party. I didn't mean for it to get outta control. Im also sorry for fightin Roc. It was honestly dumb of me for that to happen." I said. She just gave me a hug. "Dad it's alright. I understand u wasn't at your right mind at the time. All your anger exploded and just rushed out. It's understandable. Don't stress it." She reassured me. I gave her a juss on the forehead. "Thanks baby girl." I told her. "No problem dad. But u should talk to Roc and see where his mind is at right now." she told me. I shook my head up and down. I went to go find Roc. He was downstairs in the basement watchin tv. "What are u doin here?" he asked me. "I came here to apologize to u. Im very sorry about the way I acted on Tasha's birthday. I was totally outta line and I shouldn't have done that. My anger got the best of me and I exploded. Once again Im sorry for the way I acted." I stated. "Nah. Mr. Marcus I'm sorry for the way I acted. I shouldn't have fought u over somethin dumb. I lost some of my maturity points for doin that. And it was outta proportion when I decided to fight my girl's father. I also went too far and I honestly apologize.", Roc said to me. Me and him shook hands. "Aye make sure u take care of of my daughter for me, alright?" I told him. He shook his head up and down.

Roc's POV

After the talk I had with Mr. Marcus I decided to take Tasha out to the movies.
"Come on Tashyy. We gonna go see Jurassic World. Luckily we were both dressed so we didn't have to wait for each other to get dressed. We got into my car and drove to the theater. "Hi. How may I help you?" the concession guy asked me. "Yeaa can I have a medium popcorn with 2 medium Cokes and also- what candy do u want babe?" I asked. "Umm can I get some Skittles please?" I shook my head yes. "Yeaa I want some Skittles with that too" I told him. "Will that be all sir?" he asked. "Yeaa." "Your total is $26.58." I gave him the money. After we got our snacks and drinks, we gave the ticket girl our tickets and went to theatre 7. Tashyy picked out seats at the top in the corner. Halfway in the movie she curls on up on me because she scared of the movie. "Haha u scared?" I asked. "Yeaa Ion like dinosaurs no more. Bitch asses always eatin or steppin on somebody." She told me. 2 hours later That movie was so good yo forreal. On our way back to the house Tasha tell asleep in the car. I slightly poked her and told her we was home. She slowly made her way into the room. Once she did she plopped against the bed and was knocked out in like 5mins. I got some water and I took my ass to bed too. This day felt long as shit but in reality it wasn't. Tomorrow I gotta do somethin very very important and Tasha won't be able to come with me...
