Your pov:

Gale and Dewey.
They were a thing for some reason you never really saw it between them being gale's bestfriend at the time.
Their worlds completely clashed with eachother, i mean she was way out of his league at least you thought so.

You had stopped by to check up on gale especially since there was a new killer on the loose. "is anyone home?" you asked knowing she was already home, just not wanting to barge in randomly. Unlike Dewey... No matter what you did you couldn't stop comparing yourself with him seriously what did gale see in him.
"coming!!" gale said running to unlock the door for you she looked amazing.
"aren't you supposed to go for your job interview?" she asked slightly confused on why you had randomly shown up.
"yeah... Well i didnt go" you said kinda embarrassed for being to nervous to go to any type of interview, "well why are you here?! You know there is a killer on the loose and im like a main target!" gale said kind of mad at you not for coming to see her of course but just the fact you weren't thinking of yourself.

{Time skip}

You where sitting on the couch with gale watching a movie, specially a horror movie.
You thought gale was getting pretty bored so you were just waiting for her to turn it off when she wanted except she had fallen asleep..
"you overwork yourself to much" you said talking to the sleeping figure.
You quickly picked her up in your arms and walked her over to her bedroom.
You knew Dewey was gonna be back pretty soon so you tucked her into bed and placed a kiss on her forehead before quickly leaving.

You knew you would visit gale tomorrow so i went to the store to get her a few things saving her the work since shes been very busy lately.

{time skip}

You knocked on the door once again but no answer.
"hm... Gale?" you shouted yet no reply, you started to worry about her you couldn't help it.
Dewey later texted you that gale was in the hospital...
And of course you dropped everything and left rushing to see if gale was alright and you felt a slight bit of guilty for not knowing sooner i mean it was all over the news that gale weathers was attacked and rushed to hospital yet i didnt check the news until Dewey informed me.
And finally you got there hoping out of your car meeted with Sydney and Dewey.
"how long has she been here?!" you said frustrated they didnt tell you sooner.
"about an hour sorry y/n.." Sydney said.
"i need to see her!!" "well you cant we've already tried trust me only family can see her right now". Dewey said.
