Still Lucas here and, "You're shitting me," Percy says after Annabeth said he was handsome "Why are you so nonchalant about it?""Yeah..." Annabeth says.
"I'll vouch for her, he was smoking hot!" I say. "I haven't used that term since, well, ever." Everyone in the room turns to me. "What?" I ask. Addy then said, "But you're a man, and you're not gay, so." She trails off.
"I'm not gay. If anyone here is gay, it's Graham. He used to say that he was down bad for Ryan Reynolds." I say.
"Stop fleeing the question, what are you!?" Sol asks.
"Did you asses forget?" ask.
"Forget what!?" Sol shouts.
"I'm pan! You f*ucks!," I say.
There were looks of shock and confusion.
"Graham, we went to the same high school. You didn't forget." I ask.
"Yeah," He says with shame in his voice.
"How the living hell did you guys forget!" I shout.
"Well, it's not our fault, before you reached out to us, we hadn't seen you in almost 2 years." Paige says, looking at Jan.
"That's true." I mutter.
"Gods, I wish Alex was here," I say under my breath.
"Who!?" Sol shouts.
"He's my old friend. He's very much dead."
"Oh, poor him?."
"Nah, he loves it."
I get a message and I smile "Oh, it's my brother."
"What did he say?" Graham asked.
"He wants to meet up in my current reality," I explained.
"What?" Annabeth says, "Can he travel between universes as well?
"Yes, and I'll be back in a bit." I say.
I open my wingsuit and fly off.
I fly around a mountain till I reach the top and sit down. I sigh and just think about everything. I'm sitting up against a rock wall. I guess I'm thinking.
I hear footsteps behind me. I turn and see of all people, my brother. "Jimmy!" I yell. We hug and he says in his heavy Irish accent, "It has been a while hasn't it mate?" We both sit. The cool thing about my brother is that he has the same strange power to manifest portals to other universes. I mean, it's pretty cool.
"So, what exactly happened?" He asks.
"If you will, we went to the camp and fought three gorgons, but they weren't very tough. Then there was one guy we didn't recognize. He ran away."
"Heh, I would have pissed my pants if that happened to me," Jimmy says laughing. "What did you do to him?"
"Nothing," I say. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let him get away."
"Nah, he probably wasn't worth it." He says.
"I don't know." I sigh.
"Have you ever dated anyone?" He asks.
"That's out of the blue, but yes, I have," I say.
"You've dated?" He asks.
"Yes, I have." I tell him.
"Are you serious?" He asks.
"Yeah, why are you so surprised?" I ask.
"Well, you're a shrimpy little bugger!" He jokes.
"Hey!" I say with a smile.
"Sorry, sorry. It's just I haven't seen you talk about anyone, and you're always so closed off. Like, you hide who you are from everyone."
"I'm not hiding anything, I just don't show it on the outside," I say. Then, reconsidering, I say, "That was the most contradictory sentence I've ever said.
I smile and say "Remember that boy I told you about, Karlson?"
"Yep," Jimmy said.
"Well during my Junior year in High School, I asked him out to prom." I say.
"What?" Jimmy asks.
"Yep, I asked him to the prom, and he said yes." I say. "I was surprised to learn he was gay."
"I know that feeling," Jimmy says.
"Yeah, but he was the first person I ever came out to." I say.
"You're kidding," Jimmy said. "Didn't you tell Dad?"
"Not yet, I don't really know how to bring it up." I say.
"Just go home and tell him, I'm sure he'll understand." He says. "Did Karlson even say was into guys before this?"
"No. At the dance, we were quite the head turners." I said.
"Nice." Jimmy said.
"We're not together anymore, but we still talk."
"That's good," Jimmy said.
"You're a great brother, Jimmy, thanks for listening." I say.
"I'm your big brother, I always listen." Jimmy replies with a smile.
I fly back to camp. When I get there, the first person I see is Roscoe, which doesn't surprise me. "Roscoe," I say.
"Lucas?! Where were you?" he says.
"On a mountain."
We start to sit and he says, "I F-ing knew it."
"That I was on a mountain?" I ask sarcastically.
"Yeah," he says.
"Sure," I say.
"Is everyone here?" I ask.
"Yep."
"Ok,"
I look over at Annabeth and Link. She's staring right at me and I don't blame her. I smile and wave at her. She waves back.
I nod and say, "Sounds good, let's go to campfire."
