Silas had a gut feeling something was going to go wrong that anything and everything was going to go wrong. They all would need to tread very carefully unless they wanted it to go to hell in a handbasket. Everything was going smoothly to Silas's surprise. Maybe a bit too smoothly that was until the last gift was being handed out to Bella. Silas was smug about Bella getting his gift first, his was obviously the best and most thought out.

He had barged into his sister's room that morning thirty minutes before her alarm was supposed to ring. Bella wasn't happy about her sleep being interrupted but seeing her brother's excitement made her less annoyed. He had given her a book on Vampire myths and legends just for irony purposes and a lighter. ' So you will stop stealing mine' was his excuse to her.

All of the gifts the Cullens had given her were too expensive and unuseful to Silas's professional opinion. " It's from Carslile and Esme" Edward spoke to Bella as if she was ignorant of who was giving her the gift. "You've been looking a bit pale recently." Esme chided playfully, Carslile pinched his fingers together signaling ' Just a bit'. Bella was opening her gift when she got a papercut from the wrapping on the small rectangular box.

"Ouch papercut," Bella said dumbly. A small drop of blood dripped onto the pristine plush white carpet. The drop of blood was the igniter to the flame. The small papercut was enough for Jasper to lose all restraint on his animalistic urges. Bella was thrown not pushed thrown into the back wall that was lined with candles in glass vases. The shattering of glass only caused Bella to bleed more as her skin was sliced open on impact. Silas reacted quickly rushing to attend to his injured sister leaving the others to subdue Jasper.

Minutes later Bella was with Carslile in his office to get patched up by the vampiric doctor. Silas watched the whole scene play out like a hawk stalking its prey. He couldn't chance another fuck up that could potentially end his sisters or his life. Silas allowed their conversation to go in one ear and out the other as he had no interest in Carlile's pathetic self-pity and attempts at excuses. Bella was all too eager to dismiss the earlier catastrophic event. Once the doctor was finished with his sister's wounds Silas was more than ready to leave the den of predators that masked themselves with human tendencies. Carslile attempted to speak with Silas but he walked away ignoring the man. He turned his head to look back at the man

" Save it, I'm tired of your bullshit half-assed attempts of excusing you and your family's actions." Silas's words were cruel but they needed to be heard. He gave one last sneer at Carslile before leaving the Cullens residence with his sister in tow.

The Sibling arrived home and with angered silence, Silas walked in. Although he wasn't silent for long. " How fucking stupid are you? Huh?" Silas roared in anger but worry and fear seeped into his rising tone. " I asked you a fucking question!" Tears were spiling from his eyes, Silas wasn't sure if he was crying out of anger, worry, or fear at this point all he knew was that he was crying. He wasn't the only one crying, Bella was shaking.

She was on the verge of sobbing, snot running from her nose as she hiccuped and cried. They were both overwhelmed by what had happened. Everything came crashing down on them. " I'm sorry" She whimpered her voice had a breaking edge to it. "You're sorry-" Both were standing in the middle of the kitchen violently sobbing holding each other close. "How could you want to be like that?" His throat was sore from screaming and crying at the same time. Silas was only able to whisper as he rested his head on Bellas's shoulders squeezing his sister so tightly it was close to being painful. He couldn't lose her, it would end him. It would be his breaking point if he lost Bella. " Filled with uncontrollable blood lust?"

Bella questioned her wants of being like Edward, she questioned if it was infatuation or love. Silas pulled away slightly to look at his sister's face. He brought his shirt sleeve up to wipe her tears and snot away. " I love you, you fucking idiot." Bella knew she was putting everyone's life at risk with her wants. She understood why he was so upset with her actions. Her eye's widened with realization, it was rare for him to say he loved her. It was the best birthday gift she could ever receive, hearing him mutter the three words made everything better.

He gave her a small but mischievous grin. " Now go upstairs and clean up while I do the same, we have somewhere to be." Bella was hesitant to do what her older brother ordered. " Go take that hideous dress off, don't look at me like that... We both know you hate it." Bella gave a small giggle at her brother, it was true she really did hate the dress. "Dress comfortably but presentable... maybe something sparkly-" He paused for a second to purse his lips in thought. " Go raid my closet, god knows you don't have any taste." Bella let out a loud laugh a smile that met her eyes taking over her face.

" Ok, goofball." She raced up the stairs followed by Silas. Within the hour they were both dressed. Silas was not one to exactly dress up unless it was required. He was wearing a pair of ripped-up jeans that were at least three years old, a band tee that was so faded you couldn't even tell what band was on it anymore, and a pair of beat-up Converses. What really shocked her was his glittery skin, he must have put on some kind of body glitter, and was that hair tinsel? " No fair Si, you're way shinier than me"

Bella pouted causing a giggle to fall from Silas's lips. " here I'll do you." minutes later she was covered head to toe in shiny gold glitter contrasting with his silver and iridescent tinsel braided into her intricate hairstyle that Silas obviously did. Bella wore a pair of low-waisted jeans and a cut-off shiny loose silver shirt. Somehow it all went together.

" Come on let's go." Bella learned years ago not to question Silas. So she followed without question to his beat-up car. "Si, please tell me where we're going." She begged him desperately wanting to know as she was on the edge of her seat in excitement she'd never own up to if you asked. He smiled brightly and turned up the music all the way up causing the car to vibrate from the base of the music. Thirty minutes passed and Silas was parking in a slightly... very sketchy alley.

"We're here." He loudly announced jumping out of the car in exhilaration. Bella took her sweet time getting out of the car, she was clearly nervous to be in an unfamiliar place but she knew she could trust her brother. "Hurry up or we'll miss it." He whined dragging her out of the safety of the passenger seat. Silas led Bella to a back entrance door. He knocked on the dingy metal door in a complicated rhythmic pattern.

There was a slot close to the top of the building that slide up revealing a heavily pierced and tattooed man. Silas quickly flashed the back of his left wrist. She knew he had an odd tattoed symbol on the back of it but she never questioned or asked what it was or what it meant. She now guessed it had to do with this place.

The door opened up allowing Bella to be led by Silas into the unknown. Silas turned back to look at his sister, she gasped in amazement at the bright lit-up tattoos that littered his skin. He had to be covered head to toe in them. " Welcome to Angles Underground." He whispered in her ear hugging her close to his body. Somehow she heard him very clearly over the booming almost hypnotic music.

I won't lie to you I almost lost inspiration for this series but I figured instead of making the whole thing sad, Bella and Silas need an adventure, they need to let go a little. How do y'all feel about Silas bringing Bella into the party scene? Will she have a weak will like her brother and lose herself after Edward leaves?  Will she go into a deep depression? please comment with your ideas and thoughts it's greatly appreciated
