AN: First off, Please call me Moon, second, Elaine is the girl above. Her weapons are named Laven and Aurora. She's ambidextrous, btw. She is (only slightly) an allusion to sleeping beauty. She and Ruby have been best friends since they met at signal, they're the same age and Yang is like an older sister to Elaine. Her nicknames are Laine, Lainey, Ellie, and Ella. She is an orphan and her parents died in a Grimm attack when she was 12. She was adopted by kind parents but she never really bonded with them. Thus, she was inspired to become a Huntress and she applied for signal. Her semblance is the ability to make others (Grimm included) fall asleep, it takes a lot out of her to use it on Grimm though, so she's trying to get better. (Ironic, I know) she is also a Faunus, but she doesn't tell anyone, seeing as her only Faunus feature can't be seen. She herself even thinks of herself as a human. Also, please do not judge my drawing, I worked very hard on it. Info on her weapon: the blades of the daggers are retractable, and if you face the handles with retracted daggers towards each other they work as a makeshift scroll. The weapons can attach at the end to form a baton sword thingy, or they can be linked by a chain to make nunchucks. He fingerless gloves link to her daggers to she can summon them toward her. Her fingerless gloves also have dust that flows into access points on her knuckles, giving her punches a kick. Her daggers also contain dust. Her weapons only long range ability is throwing her daggers. Ok, onto the story!!!
Elaine POV
Ella!!! Get your butt over here!!!" Ruby demanded. We were in a dust shop browsing. We had planned to head home but it got so dark out that Ruby insisted we stay here
"Why???" I groaned.
"Because I said so!"
"Thats not a reason!"
"Yes it is!"
"I-I'm just... I can't... how???"
"Ha ha! I am superior!!!"
"No, you're shorter."
"Ugh!" Ruby pouted. She pulled her headphones over her ears and tuned me out. Rolling my eyes, I followed suit. We listened in peace for a few blissful minutes, before two hands roughly grabbed our shoulders and turned us around. In front of us stood a tall man. He wore a black suit and hat, with red sunglasses and a matching tie. Ruby took off her head phones.
"Yes?" She questioned. I actually face palmed.
"I said, 'Put your hands in the air' now!" the man replied.
"Are you-?" Ruby started.
"Robbing us? Of course he is!!!" I finished her sentence. She looked to him for confirmation.
"Yes!!!" She finally seemed to catch on after this statement.
"Oh..." she punched him away. A second man advanced on us.
"Freeze!" I rolled my neck.
"This'll be fun." Ruby blinked at me. Still confused why my idea of fun was beating bad guys up. I ran up to the man and kicked him away, and my blow was followed by Ruby launching the two of the out the window. Getting up, Ruby got out Crescent Rose. I walked calmly to her side. Getting out my twin daggers. I placed them in Baton mode, and readied myself in a fighting stance.
