Days passed and the rumors about how Yasu let kanae die spread around the demon slayer corps. Some whisper things about her whenever she is around and they say mean stuff about her and don't see her the same even though they still respect her since she is still a pillar.

Most of them including kakushi still see Yasu the same. They just say that whatever happens on the past, stays in the past. And they are still nice to Yasu. The love, water, mist, flame and stone pillars still hang out and talk with Yasu, like they would always do.

Since then Yasu always faked her smile and would cry her self to sleep. It hurts her how whenever she would walk past sanemi and act like they never met before and knew each other. Yasu would usually be walking next to mitsuri and sanemi would be walking alone. Yasu thought that sanemi actually moved on and forgot about yasu, since he showed no emotion only anger whenever he would pass paths with yasu .

Little did she know sanemi missed her more than anything. He would always walk around his estate to see yasus garden all dead since she wasn't there to take care of them.  He would see his kitchen empty now that Yasu isn't there to cook anything for him. He would walk around and would see his room and remember the nights he would spend with yasu.

But he knew deep down, that kanae was his first love so he couldn't just forget about her. He knew he would chose kanae over Yasu any time. But inside his heart he felt empty.

He loved yasu. He knew he did. But it was the right choice to leave her for what she has done. Even though he can't forgive her, he still loves her deeply.

Sanemi was walking to the meeting since they were going to talk about something important. When he arrived he saw that two persons were missing. Giyuu and Yasu. The pillars were all waiting until they saw Giyuu walk in and immediately sit down. Moments later their master arrived and Yasu still wasn't here. They wondered why she was late. It wasn't nothing like her at all. They thought that she was probably on a mission .

" hello my children. Today is a gloomy day huh, I don't like this kind of weather. It always means that something bad is going to happen " kagaya said. Sanemi did agree, today was cloudy and gloomy.

" my children. May you all tell me the rumors that I had heard of Yasu " he demanded " of course oyakata - sama. She had agreed that she let my older sister, kocho kanae to die in the hands of her older brother, douma who is upper moon 2 "

" hm but why are you guys angry ? You guys should understand the pain she has gone through. The fake smiles she puts everyday to not let you guys down. Just for something that happened in the past, doesn't mean it's going to affect the future " sanemi was about to speak before his master started talking again.

" but that's not the reason I have called y'all here today. It's about yasus mission " kagaya said. The pillars were curious and shocked. Some even worried. Because their master had a serious face, which means that either Yasu is dead. Or her mission would probably kill her.

' no if she's dead, our crowd would've announced already. So that can't be it ' thought the wind pillar. Not noticing that he was worried about his ex, the blossom pillar. Kagaya sighed and started to talk again so he could explain the situation.

" my children, you must say thanks to your fellow teammate, the blossom pillar. She went on this mission to protect you all. She basically sacrificed her self, in order for you to defeat the twelve kizuki " kagaya said. The pillars widened their eyes. Did Yasu went in search for them ? What did their master mean ? They could only find out by only listening to their master explains the situation into further detail.

" we had discovered how to enter the hide out of the twelve kizuki. Muzan can be hidden their too. Their hide out is called the infinity castle. I was going to send three pillars since we are close to war, but then Yasu refused and said that she would go in place for the three pillars that were supposed to go. She decided to go their to try and defeat some of the twelve kizuki demons so it would be easier for us to defeat them "

The pillars widened their eyes. Mitsuri started crying out loud. Worried about her dear friend. No, her best friend. Rengoku hugged her in order to comfort her. This made iguro kind of jealous but he put that to the side. His ex best friend is in her way to the demons hide out. Where she could get her self easily killed. Sanemi was about to have an panic attack. He bursted out yelling at his master by accident.

" WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU ?! Why would you send her to a dangerous place by her self ?! You really think she can do it on her own ?! WHAT WERE YOU FUCKING THINKING ?! " sanemi yelled out. The pillar were shocked by his sudden action. But the thing that made them more shocked was the fact that they saw tears running down his face.

"Shinazugawa, that is no way to talk to our - " before the stone pillar could finish, kagaya stopped him on speaking by putting his index finger in his mouth.

" I know your angry sanemi. I don't blame you. But she did it for you guys. Especially for you sanemi. The three people I was going to send were shinobu, you sanemi and iguro. She decided she would go in your places so y'all wouldn't die. She did it for love sanemi. I know you deeply still love her. Love drove her that crazy that she sent her self to get killed, just for you to continue living. So please, none of you waste your life's and love it well since Yasu sacrificed her self for y'all to continue living "

Mitsuri couldn't hold it anymore. She cried even harder, she screamed in pain. Sanemi was crying too. Matter fact everyone was. You could at least see a tear running down their faces. They didn't care who was crying. They were worried about Yasu.

" is Y- yasu - c-Chan going to co- come back alive ? " mitsuri asked between her sobs. Kagaya sighed " I'm afraid not mitsuri. She will have to fight upper moons. Since we got rid of the lower moons. But the whole point of going in that mission was to find more about the demons. Once she is about to die, she will send me a letter of information she had discovered "

Mitsuri continued to cry harder as she found out Yasu won't come back. Iguro couldn't stand it and walked towards mitsuri and hugged her, taking her away from rengokus embrace. Everyone put their heads down, in memory for Yasu. Even kagaya and his daughters put their head down. It started to rain. As if the sky was sad too.

" you are dismissed my children. Thank you for your time " kagaya said. The pillars just bowed down while still crying. Kagaya sighed and his daughters helped him up and led him out. The pillars had left to their estate.

It wouldn't be the same with out Yasu anymore. Muichiro wouldn't cloud gaze and do origami with Yasu. Gyomei wouldn't be able to pray and cook with Yasu. Rengoku and uzui wouldn't be able to have very hard and fun training with Yasu anymore. Mitsuri and iguro wouldn't have someone to talk about things that were in their mind and to hang out with Yasu anymore. Giyuu wouldn't have someone to talk too and feel comfortable with Yasu.

Shinobu blamed her self. She felt like it was her fault. She wouldn't be able to say sorry to Yasu anymore since she's gone now. She won't come back. Sanemi won't have anyone to love anymore or to admire.

Sanemi walked to his estate and went outside his patio. It was still raining. He just sat down in the middle and let him self get soaked. At that point he didn't care if he got sick or if he catches a cold. All he wanted was Yasu. He wanted to hug her, kiss her, talk to her. He missed her. Now he was for sure that she was gone forever. But now that sanemi thought about it. He saw the difference about Yasu and kanae .

Kanae was his first crush. Yasu was his first love.

And that's when Sanemi knew. He was in love with Yasu, meanwhile he just liked kanae. Even though they did date. He realized now that he felt more in love with Yasu then with kanae.

Oh how he wishes he never left. He at least wanted to say goodbye to Yasu with one last kiss and hug.

To be able to hear her sweet and gentle voice again.

He would do anything to see and hear her one more time.
