Chapter sixteen

it was mid afternoon and we were sat in my dorm room discussing running and how my skills had improved over the few weeks. I liked Maggy she was like a big sister that I never had and I loved her as much as my family.

We started laughing when all of a sudden we hear loud high pitched screams and noise of violence, what the hell was going on?

We shut up laughing and Maggy looks at me and speaks.

“Call your people I think the battle has begun so get ready this is going to be tough, stay behind me and ill protect you like my life depend on it my queen”

I stand there in utter shock at what she had just said but then without another word I get on it screaming through my mind link at Jackson to come and be ready.

“Battle has started Jackson we need you now, hurry with everybody”

A panicked voice replies. “Were coming my queen, hold on”

I nod to Maggy and she opens the dorm door, we instantly see people running around screaming, falling over and crying. We run past them and our eyes spot an enemy, dressed in black from head to toe moving a weapon over their head floating in mid air, the weirdest thing ive ever seen by far.

I watch as he tries to attack a girl running our way and I don’t think I automatically react by launching my thunder ball so fast towards him he doesn’t have time to react or dodge it so it hits him square in the chest with enough force he crumbles into millions of tiny little pieces. One down a shit load more to go.

We make our way out on the school field and find people fighting, with weapons, powers you name it they were using it. I see one of the people from my fighting class John I think his name is struggling with a darkling and I hurry towards him, while Maggy shouts to me in the distance.

I run up and do a round house kick on the darklings face knocking him away from John.

“Go ive got this” the darkling gets back up and hisses at me.

“Your going to die for that bitch”

“Yeah maybe in my next life time” I reply cockily.

I blast him with a thunder ball, poof behind him kick him in the back of the knee and as he goes down I pull he sword out from his back and stab him, he shatters instantly.

I hear a high cry out and I turn in the direction of where it came from and I freeze, standing there grinning is Serbion, I look beside him and spot Violet eyes wide, gurgling blood with a sword right through her body I let out a frustrated cry and charge towards him,

Im full of rage he just killed my best friend, the first friend I ever had when I came to this academy, she was like family, I think im full of shock but all my mind is focused on killing him now. The evil.

I get as close as I dare get to him and stand the glaring.

“Ha ha  so I see it finally came down to this, you know Lucia we could of ruled together but you just wouldn’t have it, very well you chose the hard way to do this, when were done I wont even show you mercy and neither will your brother”

My eyes flick between my brother Bryan and Serbion, there’s no way im ruling beside him and he damn well ain’t taking over this world, not while im still alive.

“Bring it old man ive been waiting for this”

I watch as his eyes grow red and he flings a fire ball at me, I see it coming towards me and I don’t move I brace myself and catch it.

The fire ball grows bigger between my hands while I watch Serbions eyes slightly raising in confusion and then I throw his ball right back at him, he doesn’t realize its travelling at some speed and it hits him square in the shoulder.
