Recap:
"Thank you hun, but I'll need a moment and i'll be right up!" The mysterious person's voice was soothing and sweet to any individual's ears. The footsteps grew closer to her as she looked up only to see a girl with long black hair and purple eyes. "Hello..I'm Raven, I believe you're the one i've been talking to over text correct?"
"Yes! That's correct, I'm Maya, it's a pleasure to meet you, please sit down if you're ready. Unless you're ready to order?" Maya giggled, recalling that she did say she needed time, Raven chuckled at the statement and nodded.
"Ah, yes thats right, give me a moment and i'll be right back."

"Take your time, i'll be here waiting." Maya replied back as Raven walked back up to the counter to place her order. As Raven was taking her order, Maya admired how beautiful she was, her welcoming smile matching with her purple eyes and long black hair. Even her taste in fashion was something to admire with loving intentions, from her black and red boots, to her checkered skirt and black sweater. Its like what you would call love at first sight but for friends, knowing that no matter where you are, that you already have the trust in them to stay and help you whenever you needed. Maya sipped her coffee her blue eyes locked and gazed onto her newly founded friend. Would this be the start of a brand new friendship? Or the end of a heartbreaking relationship with someone who you thought would stay? That's something for Maya herself to find out along the way, but little did Maya know, Raven had no intention on leaving her side. As Maya gazed away from Raven's direction she looked down at her phone, it was opened to a book she had been reading. A romance angst novel, where two lovers were sworn to be together, however due to the main character's actions their promise to their lover was broken. Maya was hooked into the book she had been reading for a couple of weeks now. Especially since the author would put a new part out every week. It was one of the many things Maya would wait for, as she kept reading the book becoming more and more interesting by the paragraph, she was soon interrupted by the trance of her story that she almost forgot Raven came back. She broke her gaze from the book staring across the table to see Raven admiring how she was so hooked into her story, Maya's face flushed a bright red, not realizing the look Raven was giving her. Raven finally broke the silence between the two as she set down her latte.
"Sorry Maya, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. Are you reading a book?" She sounded intrigued by what Maya was doing, and that if she was reading, what was she reading? Maya looked at Raven for a second struck by the question.
"Yea, I've been hooked on this romance novel, it's been so good so far. They make me question what could happen next in the story. However since the book isnt finished i've been waiting for new chapters each week but it ends up being so worth it." She smiled at Raven as she geeked about the book she's been reading, as Maya continued to geek about the book Raven listened closely showing her that she was actually interested and intrigued about the plot and theme of the book. Hours went by faster than than both of them realized, they looked at their phones and then looked back at each other. "I guess its time for us to depart for the night?" Maya asked with somewhat of a disappointed expression and tone.
"Yea, sadly it is time, but we need to hangout again soon! I want to make sure we get to stay around each other for a long time. I enjoyed the time spent with you, you're a very interesting individual and I want to get to know you better" Raven stated with a smile, Maya's face went bright red as she smiled back in return. Both Maya and Raven got up from their seats, giving each other an embracing hug for the moment of their new founded friendship. As they left the cafe, they waved goodbye to each other and walked home. As Maya was walking home she noticed how dark it was getting despite the moon's soft glow shining down on the area's around her. The stars shining brightly above her. The sound of crickets chirping in bushes as she made her way up the hill to her safe place to call home. As she reached the top, she looked up at the sky noticing every individual star in the sky surrounding the dimly lit moon, it brought her a sense of calmness and safety from the universe as a whole. The way her face was slightly lit with the moon's presence, her eyes sparkled like stars as she looked back at the day she had. Meeting someone entirely new and leaving with a brand new friend. She smiled at the sky as she muttered under her breath.
"Goodnight dear universe, thank you for bringing such beauty to our world and everything around us." She walked into her house locking the door behind her, kicking off her shoes and changing into her pajamas. Maya put her phone down on her charger and opened the blinds. She loved the soft rays of light the moon provided her, and waking up to a beautiful sunrise. As she lied down on her bed she received a text, Maya looked over to her phone which was placed on her end table next to her bed. It was Raven, Maya's face lit up as she read the text from Raven. "Thank you for such a wonderful day, I hope you have sweet dreams and a restful evening"
Maya smiled at the message as she responded back to Raven, "You as well, it was a pleasure to meet you and make a new friend" As soon as she sent the message she drifted off to sleep waiting for the next day of her adventures to find her one and only soulmate in the end and to make brand new memories with her new friend Raven. Sweet dreams my dear for all will come shortly to your eyes and the palms of your soft hands.
